thats cos you dont have the track in th game. downlaod that track and then it wont crash.

ur engine overheats because ur radiator size is set to 1-2 default. put it to maximum. its under aerodynamics in vehcle setup

how do ppl get such fast times in this game? no matter how good I drive, I always get crap times, i feel like my car is soooo slow, even when i use like kimi or alonso. Is there something i need to tweak to make my car go super fast?

it doesn't matter about who you choose. You should learn how to modify the parameters that benefit the track and the weather condition best. Run few laps and investigate the telemetry, then do the adjustment to meet the best fit.
