Madden is going on a downword spiral. 07 to me is better than 08. Yes,08 has better grapics,but gameplay is 07. In 08(and in this preview of 09) they run like they all got sticks up thier asses. It seems to me like 09 is fake. At least 07 was more realistic than both 08 and 09(gameplay wise).Al Micheals and John Madden as annoucers were 10x better at commentary than Kevin faulk. If you press right on the stick, the ball-carrier will instantly face right, without showing any turning that should be involved.
it should take a step or two, to make a turn at full speed. Running up the middle is horrible. I don't know one person who can run up the middle worth a shit anymore, or anybody who performs user-catches throughout the game constantly. Now every run is to the outside, and everypass is an in-route, or an out-route. There's no more user-catching a jump ball with a big WR. They don't jump or move like they used to. Its all about speed now, no strength; which isn't the NFL, speed is college.
In real life it takes effort to turn right or left. In this they do it effortlessly. The camera view for passing is terrible. You cant drop back to pass, and u can barly see 10 yards down. The passing game is also harder by your offensive line. They jump the snap and are ontop of you before your wide out leave the line of scrimmage. They might as well take out user catching because you wont catch a pass by yourself. The so called spectacular catches dont work as a user. This game is a waste of $

This looks about 60% of the way done. I like the camera things their doing because it makes it look more like your watching a game on TV. The weather is going to be a HUGE factor this year it looks like. Every pic or vid I see of it is a snow game, hopefully they don't overdue it. I'm liking the new scoreboard to, again looks more like a real game on TV, which I belive they should shoot for.
