Well thanks for the positive comments for a change, I never set out in this business to do any other than write songs,and perform to the best of my ability,I'm lucky to have music in my life and to have done what I've done, sadly some people always have to bitch either through envy or just because they never see the light. This new version was personal journey for me and to pay tribute to my family and friends whom I hold most dear and with a whole lotta love!
what a waste of a post!...why the negativity towards someone who has done so much in his life? Derek has written some great songs and this particular one has touched so many hearts (mine very much included)... certainly the creative genius behind this should be permitted to take first credit....and the video is a beautiful and loving tribute to family and friends...."Thank you babe for being a friend and shinin' your light in my life"
