Insurance companies are only required to payout 70% in claims. They keep 30% to pay CEO, board of director and post BIG PROFIT. Problem is, we have agreed with your side. There are numerous proposal by the Repubs that are included in the bill. That's why many Dems do not like the bill, but it's at least a start. Yet Republicans are still opposing EVERYTHING in the bill (opposing their own proposals? Why? They simply want to kill the bill entirely) What raystewart1 is saying is that we have tried to appease the Repubs to get this passed, now it's time to stop appeasing the party of oppostion and get it done.

@vduhr No, the problem is that there is still a lot of language in that bill that will grossly expand the power and authority of the federal government and their constituents will fire their asses if they do vote for it. This is the problem we get when our president has an agenda. Our nations agenda is supposed to flow from us, through congress, through the senate, through the white house and back to us.
