I gotta say, and I'm only 38 years young, it doesn't get much better than this. I truly believe Neil Diamond is the King of all Kings. His last concert in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada, I had my 65 year old mother on one side of me and my 10 year old Nephew on the other. Truly great music that spans generations.

I always wondered what this tune was, now I know. It's such a happening song judging by the audience reaction to it.

The instrumental of it was used as the theme/countdown backing music to the Billboard American Hot 100 show on Beacon Radio in Wolverhampton (UK) in the late 1970s.

I saw the whole concert on Youtube and then bought the DVD for my father. He is a huge fan. I can't wait to watch it myself, since I live in Japan and I come back home after one year soon. By the way, we are Spanish. He introduced me to CSNY, CCR, Simon & Garfunkel, Led Zeppelin and so many other artists that not all Spanish youths nowadays might know. Great performance, Mr. Diamond!

Wow! Does anyone remember back in the 80's and 90's Neil's voice started to sound kinda rough? But a few years back he found his voice again and it sounds amazing!

as a huge rock n roll fan- I have said to many that this opening on the han album is one of the all time best in music ever- he has the horn section here that was not there in 72- then it was the electric guitars!!! Diamond is a rock icon wih a following second to none.

As a kid, I remember these being on the radio. This great special has made me rediscover this music in adulthood. I'll be getting the concert. Some very moving music. Neil D. is a fantastic performer. I like seeing him work the crowd.

Neil Diamond has always been a terrific and incomparable songwriter. Diamond's studio output suffered for at least two decades when he got 'lost' in MOR and allowed his albums to be overproduced. since working with Rick Rubin and picking up his guitar again, Diamond has been transformed both in the studio and on stage. What an artist. What a songwriter. Surely one of the greatest of his generation yet still so chronically underrated.
