I don't think Chelsie tries hard. How? She's technically great. Like on SYTYCD. She nailed almost every single style .She barely had a bad week. Also during the MJ tribute, A lot of the pro dancers looked still stiff doing the Thriller dance but Derek, Mark, Chelsie, and Lacey. I think ppl underestimate her b/c of her age.
@kaye09love Lacey was also on SYTYCD and nailed every single style. I think Chelsie when she gets a partner who is not as good, she tries to make sure she doesn't outshine them. One week when Lance and Lacey got West Coast Swing (it being her main style of ballroom/latin dance), she took it over.
I know that. Well, almost everyone who makes it the fianals or nears nails every single style. (unless they get too much exposure or have a big fanbase like Evan and Rusell)
In DWTS ur really not supposed to outshine ur partner so much. It's more about the celebrities and making them champs. In the West Coast Swing dance, Lacey got much critism for not showing Lance off as much as she should of. As I recall, she got more critcism in that routine than Lance. (which doesn't happen much often)
He dances like he's just picked a drunk girl up at a bar!! Yikes!!
