From the view of someone with minimal pilot experience, you have to realise that as a pilot you have to realise when the aircraft is unrecoverable. Imagine ejecting out of a 60 million dollar plane wastefully. Im not saying that trying to recover is going to be the best bet at an airshow, but in this case the plane is very nearly on the brink of rising. Another few feet higher and he could have flown it off...This video is all the info i have so I might be wrong.
Basically, they killed 77 people to save their sorry asses (bring the jet to horizontal so they could safely eject instead of ploughing straight down into the ground).
There is a diffrence between accepting that people die and insulting the dead. I'd like to see you go up to the dead peoples familes and tell them their love ones deaths were nothing.
if i was there, i wouldve screamed hit the deck!!! because im an aviation expert in the civil air patrol, and that drag cant be rescued unless your at least 5000 ft off the ground
@thevidmaster101266 That depends on the type of plane, sir. The Sukhoi SU-33 could probably recover from that drag. But I'd like to congratulate you with the fact you're in the civil air patrol, I think the organisation is a great initiative. They should have similar organisations around the world.
