In the 8 bits the best was Master System. In 16 bits was SNES. In 32 bits was PS1, in 64 bits was N64(Jaguar didn't make sucess) and in 128 bits was PS2. Portable is Nintendo DS. Nowadays I think is very difficult to tell who is the best, Xbox 360, PS3 and Wii.

I think in the future there would be no console... and it will be like a multitasking device. like a TV, Radio, Computer, Cellphone, Camera, Video, Organizer, Wallet, PC thingy.... just look now what can you do at a simple PSP. lots of customization.... may be in the future it will be ALL-IN-ONE!!! :D

The only good thing that I like about the PS3 as of right now is the fact that you can take out the harddrive and put in a bigger one or smaller one. But one thing that I would like to see in the near future from console companies is to allow it's buyers to futher custom their console machines in any way fashion like if you want it to be wi-fi or maybe have a different grafic card design the console to be made that way and also let me change the console to add more slot or not.

That's just a later redesigned version of the original NES.

Yes that's right- the top loader didn't really do anything different from the original except it was smaller physically (since the whole cartridge didn't have to slide into the unit). But the biggest advantage was that by eliminating the internal push-down rack, the dreaded flashing glitch (with having to blow on the connectors then try again) occurred much less often. It was just a smarter design but a bit too little too late as most gamers had moved on to 16-bit when it was released.

Just looking at this video kind of ticks me off because back in the day Atari 2600 give anyone who buys the console four controlers two normal controlerss and the ones that are use for sports games. Nintendo 8-bit console use to also give two controlers and two games and the Zipper Gun. It's too bad that today's consoles don't give you much stuff anymore. I hate getting rip-off playing so much money to only have one controler.
