@islamacros he is criticizing it, but in a kind of playful mocking way - i think he's a bit fascinated by its cultural impact on the world("ain't it a shame that all the world..."), but also overwhelmed by the glamour it offers ("so much to plunder that i think i'll sleep instead"), and kind of disillusioned at all the obsession with celebrity and materialism.
