completeley normal start for a 215. if its the first start in the spring time it will smoke more due to the inhibiting oil in the cylinders beng burnt

if it burns 5 gal of oil every start, there is something wrong.... considering it operates at 26 gal. its normal for every start to smoke like that.

heh... as told to me by a CL-215 engineer: "if it doesn't burn off 5 gallons of oil every time it starts, there's something wrong."
