i totally agree with the austin comments... wasn't austin the only actor from the group of something?? because i always thought he lasted so long because of that little detail!!

I was sad to see him go but I thought it was funny how he was smiling throughout the song (even though I know singers ususally try to smile when they sing...but I mean it was a sad song) but he probably did want to exit with a sad face. I think he enjoyed being all next to 3 Sandys too.

Hi Green... He may have been smiling because he knew something that the rest of us may not have known. Perhaps he has been contacted by a producer/director and has opportunities knocking on his door as a result of his expose on the show. Like any of the other talented finalists, I'm not worried about his career. He'll do fine.

You should be right. He is very talented. He really has it all. Either that or she just very mature for his age. Chad didn't really get noticed enough & his "posse" at the tapings didn't help by cheering and drowning out his great voice. Very very talented.
