Once, Harald Edelstam was stopped by Chilean military officers at a roadblock. He was hiding several Chilean civilians in the trunk of his car who was wanted by the military junta. He got out of the car with his diplomatic passport in his hand, walk around the car and said:
"Where I walk, its Swedish territory."
Then he got into the car again and drove off, while the officers just stood staring. He was a hero!
To whom who is living in Hong Kong, here is a good news. The Black Pimpernel will be played in June in the Refugee Film Festival, organized by UNHCR and CrossRoads International, as a selected movie by Amnesty International (HK). Don't miss it. Take a look into AIHK's website to reserve a ticket.
