  • @MendingMedia ahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha. let me guess, you also listen to alex jones. lmfao you my friend are a moron.

  • @DerKavallerist Alex Jones is a Zionist. Just like the leader of Canada.

  • Afghanistan has nothing to do with canadian freedom.

  • I Feel Like I Disrespected Them, I Only Remember Them ONCE A Year, I PROMISE To Take Time Out Of Everyday To Remember.

  • Looks like our neighbors to the north are good at more than just hockey! :) In all seriousness, much thanks to the Canadian military. An impressive force indeed.

  • Im with PPCLI, and I love what I do, when people sit there and tell us to get out or tell us we can get out...remember this, we volunteered to join....none of us were forced. God Bless this great country we call Canada. More people should just be quiet unless they want to join....

  • This is so very nice a video. Thank you :-)

    "Lest Ye Forget"

  • Very well done. Keep up the good work

  • Awesome video. Brought me to tears.

  • I'm about to graduate from boot camp and I really appreciate this vid. thank you for putting it together

  • When the FBI kick in your door for supporting Al'Queada try not to act too suprised. You poor sad cowardly little traitor. Run for Saudi Arabia now while you still have a chance...... coward.

  • you know fuck all about war!!! just start to do your basic trainning and ...IF... you pass post your comment again ... stop playing your ps3 and try the real thing ...

  • T4nz4ni4232 How the fuck can you post something like that on a tribute video!

I'd love to meet you and tell me im a pussy to my face, you fucking ignorant piece of shit.

  • @T4nz4ni4232:

You are one of the few people in this world I could gladly bring myself to kill. It's a shame people don't take that last sentence seriously anymore.

  • One Of My Friends Died In Iraq Thank You For This Video.

  • thanks for this tribute to my friends and comrades in the CF who are willing to sacrifice everything for the betterment of others

  • Great vid, i have flown a few of our falling troops out in the herc. My respect to all our serving members and members from other countries serving.

  • OMG I LOVE THE SONG

  • great tribute.

  • great tribute man. we appreciate it :)

  • Respect to the Canadian military! Greetings from your ally Germany!

  • Love your guys tanks!!! LMAO! They actually are the best in the world!

  • Thanks! ;) But the problem is today´s government doesnt invest money to develope a new tank generation. In 20-30 years our tanks will not be the best anymore...but until then, you know what you deal with ;)

  • I personally blame the econimy, most gov's are probably NOT gunna start giving more to there miliary, untill there is a war.

  • Thats right. Germany should choose 2 or 3 special projects and finance them permanently to ensure high standarts of technology, like infantry weapons, spy satellites or fast battle tanks. Well, at least because of NATO we can profit from each other´s technology and experience...

  • why isnt germany in afghanistan?

  • Germany is in Afghanistan.

  • oh, thanks for the info. thats something i never knew

  • No problem! Happy to be helpful...;)

  • they are

  • they, not as much as us uk and canada but they are their.

It's a NATO mission and they are in NATO so they have that part to do.

  • as a supporter of the canadian military andcitizen who trryed to enlist.

please demand your troops to leave kahndahar air base and fight the taliban

  • I´m sorry but that choice is not mine. From a miltary pov the war against the taliban can not be won. But still, as far as our allies fight there I would support our forces to join them. But as I said, its in the hand of our politicians...

  • I believe Canada has had only three deaths "on base"...one suicide and two negligent discharges. How do you suppose the rest of the soldiers died? Through IED attack while patrolling or in direct combat with insurgents.

  • what the fuck is ur point i have lost a person overthere and my 3bros are there and my dad is there so wtf is ur point fuck!!! do you no what your talking about do you even live in canada jeez so fuck man

  • Please refer to the post by "AlderTheKitty" (two months ago, saying that Canadian troops should leave the airbase and fight). My post was aimed at him, explaining that the vast majority of Canadian troops have died "outside the wire".

  • WTF does that mean!

  • Thank you, thank you, thank you for posting this video!! God bless our heroes in the Canadian Military! ***** =^..^=

  • very good, I've always liked that one poem at the beginning. If I ever see anyone burning a Canadian Flag, I'll kill those cowards where they stand! The Canadian Flag deserves much more respect than any other for what our nation has done.

  • Excellent Video Great Tribute To Our Soliders Awesome Thanks For posting A Proud Canandian From Toronto God Bless All Our Soldiers And There Familys KTF 10)***************************

  • Wow.

    Nicely Done.

  • Guardian Angel - Red jumpsuit apparatus

  • the picture of the two soldiers holding the flag, right before it cuts to the bag pipes, well the one on the right taught on my bmq, he's been to afghanistan 3 times, one of my heroes, great guy, and a god of gucci kit. Just want to wish him and every other troop air, sea, and land, a safe return to canadian soil.

  • what is the first song ????????????????

  • The Acoustic Song - Red Jumpsuit Apparatus

  • made me cry like a baby lol. this is a very powerfull vid... my husband and brother-in-law are Military and my brother-in-law is in afghanistan right now, and like it's been said in previous posts, the soldiers believe in what they're doing. they're making a difference, despite what it may look like on the news, it would be wrong to pull them now! God bless the soldiers, keep up the amazing work you're doing over there!

oh, and kmchardy1 the song is Guardian Angel by the Red Jumpsuit Apparatus

  • Whats the first song?

  • yah, good job jerry, fucking educate urself hinrichten b4 u comment like that, learn the facts

  • Very powerful video. Especially when it showed the image of the two soldiers holding the flag, the one on the right was my section cmndr on my BMQ. One of the soldiers killed due to friendly fire by the Americans is also from my home town. It's nice to see that there are still some fellow Canadians who support, respect, and pay tribute to our brave men and women who serve over there. Good on yah whoever made this. As a member of the CF, thanks to all those that support our troops

  • im a soldier on my QL3 Veh tech course, from nova scotia, and us east coasters have taken a huge brunt of this war. but it hits us all. MCpl Stannix was from my hometown, it hit hard, and same wiht all the nova scotians and Newfoundlanders and NBs that die for our great country. i'll be with you boys soon in combat

  • so's my husband!(<<<on his QL3 Veh Tech course that is) are you at CFB Borden? cause then you're probably on his couse :) Pte Cole

  • sorry, ^^this post doesn't really make sense lol it's for CommandoRC1207Scorch's post

  • As a member of the CF, I have one thing to say:

Soldiers are willing to fight people they've never met for people they've never met, in a country they've barely heard of before training. And they sign their life on a blank check, payable to whomever needs them.

You know that going in, and you're proud to do it.

    Cheers.

  • That brought a few tears. To all the troops and vets alike. Thank you, for past sacrifices and now, for keeping them there and not here. I gotta make a lil road trip to my nearest Canex for more ribbons.

    God bless.

    PS

Who are those bastards burning my flag, where and when did this happen, Oh and if one of you are on here reading this, let's have a chat;)

  • Yes, I'd like to thank you for putting this together. A few tears while I watched. I'm one of those standing witness on the Whitby bridge when our men and women come home early.

  • bring home our boys, this isn't our war

  • I'm sorry, but our Canadian soldiers believe in the war. If they never there wouldn't be any Canadians over seas. Every Canadian soldier has the ability to opt out of a deployment. Afghanistan needs us, and we need to stop the Taliban, because if it wasn't for the conflict in Afghanistan, the conflict could someday be on Canadian soil. How would you like that? I am a Canadian soldier, and damn proud to be one.

  • This war ultimately effects Canada, if you neglect to see that the perhaps you could take your comments elsewhere. Thank you very much.

  • @Andy072 im not a cf member as i am inelligable for deployment, but i am proud of anyone who wears the maple leaf on their shoulder and im proud of all the places where canadians are deployed past present and future

  • @Andy072 with all respect bout ya were just an illuminati puppets i have family in us marines but im tired of us goverment and their lies ya should fight the illuminati that is our goverment

  • this is our war actually... i spent 7 months there and take it from me that we need to help afghanistan and the world will be a better place without the taliban, sure we wont rid the country of all its wrongs, but since we been there we built hospitals, schools, gave women the freedom they deserve to be equal (in some places) and also the afghan national army has became quite powerful... so before you know the facts of what we do dont comment like this, dont just listen to the bad on the news.

  • The media censors what it airs for a reason, for some reason the ''Doom 'n' Gloom'' effect for the media gets the most attention, hence the reason you hear about the Canadian soldiers who where blown up, but you never hear about tall the lives they have for certain changed for the better. I hope to go over as well Jonny, I am new to the CF BMQ starts next week for me, I am only a reservist, hopefully I'll get my chance.

  • I beleive in this 100%, besides if we leave that place will become hell for those people living their.. the taliban will come back and everything our brave troopers fought and died for will be lost, along with the wounded soldiers. Afghan needs our help, we need to help the ones who can not help them selves.. This job needs to get finished.

  • My cousin(Corporal. Aaron E. Williams, H-coy 2RCR)) fought and died for this mission and you can bet he believed in it..He even volunteered for his second tour I believe they had an open spot and he wanted to go.

I also believe in this mission of our and plan on joining as an Infanteer and continuing what my Grandpa and cousin did.

  • You stupid, ignorant, person. It's everyone's war. We're doing so much good over there. I believe the motto "if you dont stand behind our troops feel free to stand in front of them " applies to YOU!! try putting on a uniform jack ass and see how far you will get. my advice, get a job, grow up, or get the hell outa CANADA

  • your right jerry, and for all those fuck heads who don't believe you, just remember that if you don't fight them there, you'll fight them over here soon enough, because immigration is moving those fuckers right under your noses, before you know it, your neighbor is outside shitting on his lawn and praying on a rug with a diaper on his head.Trust me, I was there.

  • Woah There, i'm not talking about imigration?! where the heck did u get that? I'm talking about anyone who doesnt support our troops and who thinks that they can tell people what they're going through or what it's like to do something so dangerous and have people at home saying it's not our war and they're there killing innocents. man Burzum i think ur a nazi or something.

  • HAHAHA thats alright, you can think what you want, but I assure you I am no nazi. But Immagration has a lot to do with whats happening over sea's. I m not racist, just expirienced. Keep in mind, the things I said about the neigbor issue, wernt ment to be funny.....they do that shit over there in there own country, and they did it in Toronto, and in the USA.

  • @Hinrichten this is your war dumb ass we are all allies we must stick together to the terrorist want you dead like the Russians and British and Americans i know we all want the war to end but it just cant these people don't care about there own lives and they are willing to take our lives with them our heros such as these soldiers will give it there all just like im sure you would give it your all if your family or loved ones are in dange we must work together god bless america and its allies

  • @cvp123d no, terrorists want to use enter your country so they can kill americans because my country doesn't maintain hundreds of military bases around the world, let its oil companies set up oil towns filled with foreigners, or have a lot of its leadership calling for more war with muslims. this is only our war because you stomp your feet and NATO has to step in line, but that wont be the case soon. America's a nation born out of violence, not good for a global leader.

  • @Hinrichten any war were soldiers fight for freedom is the canadians war

  • @nevets1028 fight for freedom? are the afghans any more free today, after 10 years of war? They still live in fear, the AWOL rate in the afghan military is high, with a lot of them going to join the taliban. don't get me wrong, i respect our men in uniform, but i don't let that respect blind me from thinking critically about the war and what "fighting for freedom" means.

  • WOW...Great video...Brought tears to me eyes...One of the best ones I have seen in awhile...5/5

  • This brought a tear to my eye. These brave soldiers are just kids. Kids who have my utmost respect and gratitude.

  • Great video! Thank you for posting it. Thank you Canadian soldiers for your service.

  • From a sister of one of the boys near the end thank you so much this video is amazing.

  • One cannot imagine the horrors these YOUNG men and women are facing every day. Remembrance Day is a day to remember these men and women as well as the volunteers who give so unselfishly in Kandahar (doctors, specialists, nurses) and also to remember the Veteran's of WWII and the Korean War. Every year they get fewer and fewer. My dad is 83 and an army veteran. I have my daughter, son-in-law, 3 nephews who are active as well as a number of retired personnel.

  • good vid people seem to forget canadian troops are in the thick of it just as much as any one else

  • Thanks to everyone who's lived and died fighting for their country... this goes to all soldiers.. of every country... because every army fights for their beliefs... those that are evil to us are doing what they think is right... yes it is evil, but it's what they believe in. Anyways, great tribute, and God bless those fighting now, those who have fought, and those who will fight in years to come.. because, unfortunately, war will never end, only the countries fighting.

  • Thank you sir or madam for adding this video I got one that was made last year on Nov 11th but now in Canada everyday is a day to remember. Thank you Canadian Troops for everything :D.

  • This was one of the best videos/tributes i've seen yet! Being a ex-military "grunt" from a Scottish Regiment, the Pipes have always sent chills down my spine. It was a gut wrenching but yet fabulous tribute to all of those who are serving, have served and those who paid the ultimate sacrifice. Excellent Tribute!

  • God Blesses 2 all of them....
