Yeah it is Sheer Class, to bad so many people go to the trouble to Embed it for someone who can't view You-Tube for certain places that have censored the web for various reasons only to find out it is disabled. At least that fact should be placed in the description bar. "You may watch all you want for free, but not send it to be watched for free" Makes sense doesn't it?

Dont be surprised if people are pissed at you for disabling the embedding feature...alot more people watch videos in windows on BBS sites than from browsing around youtube...it ticks people off to go to the trouble to load the HTML and add the code...only to have it end up a dead link they have to fix...I love 10cc so Im cool.

I didn't upload any of these video clips to make friends just to share them on YouTube with like-minded 10cc fans and you are the first person to complain in 3 years about my decision to disable the embedding facility. All the material on my YouTube page was purchased by me and therefore I'm disinclined to allow people to embed it into other sites. If you don't like it, there are other users who have uploaded this clip.

I actually did post this on my FB page, back when the embedding was enabled (I always try to avoid posting videos that have embedding disabled. It's like a slap in the face when I click on a link and I get that message), and it was a popular clip. Now, it's ... gone. However, I do believe the uploader can do whatever he or she wants.

Oh, It was great growing up in the 70's From Soft Rock, Disco to Acid Rock. These groups had TALENT. Even the groups that we didn't like because of personal preference. I listen to them all. Very few groups will have their songs played 30-40 years later. But the 70's still being played in 2010? WOW.

Imho, these live vocals are NOT "weak." This was '77 --they don't have any ear buds--they literally cannot hear each other, and are doing the layered vocals almost studio quality! For a reason I don't understand, the same audiences that think ear buds and clip mikes are cool were put off by band members wearing earphones. Anyway, I think the performance is amazing.

I think it's more just a different mindset. There are less great songwriters which means less great songs. there are simply more bands recycling the same old crap. We just aren't as clever these days. (Technically yes- creatively no)

But there are still some true musical geniuss out there. Madonna, Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Jaylo, Guns n' Roses just to mention a few off the top of my head. Not one of these is recycling the same ole crap. Music is an art & like all art, some is better than others & opinions vary. But the quality & creativity is still what makes it great.

i'm a rocker i'll tell ya this was some good songwriting , still is for it's day.

modern pop cant hold a candle to this. and as for the live background vocal's of this song being so called weak? go have another beer in a bar back in the eightie's. cuz these were pretty damn good for live and three guy's doing it at that. so dont write that some cover band that couln'dt muster up enough talent to write their own song was better than the original.

Great story behind that - it was 10cc's secretary in the recording studio (Strawberry Studio) that ended up saying this in the song - simply because she had alerted Eric that he had a phone call while they were stuck on the subject of how that part could be done- and they knew it, instantly, that her voice was perfect for the part! So, she also got an award for the song!! Such a cool story :)
