  • I'm 26 years old and this has been and always will be my favorite Christmas movie. Forget the other crap this is a classic!

  • Yes, this was Paramount's first "wide-screen" theatrical movie {in their "VistaVision" process, which printed each frame sideways on the film}, and became one of the "Top 10" box office successes of 1954. Fred Astaire was supposed to be Bing's co-star again (as in "Holiday Inn"); after reading the script, though, he decided to pass on the film, so Danny Kaye replaced him. The narrator for this trailer was veteran announcer Art Gilmore...

  • i agree; this is an excellent movie with a great cast. i enjoy watching this when it comes on during the Christmas holiday. it is a very heartfelt film with a comical twist added to it. i would recommend this movie to anyone.
