  • @steved314ify The soil pH for blueberries and blueberry plants should be around 4.8 but lowering the soil pH for blueberries is quite easy. Our farm sells slow release organic sulphur that will help our customers to easily and quickly loswer soil pH for growing blueberries. Our blueberry farmers can give you some quick tips on how to properly amend your soil for blueberries with our special pH products.

  • What kind of acreage did your patch cover?

  • @BLuser01 This sample blueberry patch covers about 1/2 area. The proper blueberry plant spacing is 2.5' feet between each blueberry plant and 9' feet between each row from center to center. Of course the blueberry bush spacing between rows depends on what type of impliment you will use (i.e. tractor, tiller, mower) but overall the total number of blueberry plants per acre is 1,200 bluebery plants per acre and 600 blueberry bushes for 1/2 acre which this sample patch is just about that size.
