I admit I'm so used to hearing Frau Kasarova as Sesto that it's hard for me to imagine that she could ever be Annio in this opera. %)

Heheh, she started small like everyone else indeed, matie. The coolest thing is, in the same festival she was singing this, she also had her big break replacing Marilyn Horne as Tancredi in the concert performance there. I envy those who got to hear her in both roles that year. Must have been some experience! :o)
