just an update on mine i got a wile ago now :-) .. didnt have any rattle at all :-D but yeah.. the only thing i found was in a big venue the sound dissipates so ya really need a sub to go with it :-) the sub i got works really well with these 2 bad boys :-D the only thing is the sub is bigger and much heavier then the 2 speakers put together lol! .. but well worth it! :-D ...i usually just run the EQ on the speakers slat .. and tweak the frequency knob a little down or up depending on the room.
i bene using these awesome speakers for the past few months now and I'm VERY IMPRESSED!! :-D .. perfect for a small party :-) .. i ended up getting a sub woofer to go with it for when i do bigger gigs .. or ones that they want the music very loud :-D the Behringer 18 inch powered sub i got goes perfect with them :-D
@LilRichards2 They are! Very good for value. it takes someone who has experience with good quality audio to appreciate that. What problems are you having??
@LilRichards2 I really have no idea how you are using them, but they don't peak that easily, they take some beating before that. We (WiredForSound) used four of these for a crowd of almost 2000 people at a firework display outside. 3 elements to get round, being outside, large number of people to absorb the sound and the freaking fireworks!! haha. All ran fine, no peaking, was very loud throughout the crowd and no complaints. They are really quite great. I am surprised about your peaking problem
@dan0987654321 I think they definitely have the best 'bass for price'. But if you were pole mounting these I would strongly recommend buying some(a) subwoofer, then turn the LF down on the back of the Thump. This way you still get some nice kick, more spread, able to go louder and the sub provides the bass. I will make a video soon showing my setup now :) Thanks for the question!!
@MacAndStuffVideos oh one more thing. please please please what is the name of the intro track? its so familiar and im bustin my own chops trying to figure it out.
@MacAndStuffVideos NO SHIT i have the omni control too! lol sorry to comment so much it just blew my mind. great piece of equipment with traktor pro and the kontrol x1.
I got one of the old Thumps and a new one and still don't really know why they change the logo and stuff. I have used this on 175 people but I need a bass speaker to go with it because there was not enough bass and the red light was going. But they are just amazing for the price.
these are okay!! clip real fast any advice on that??
