  • @mlgprotipsy fucking looser get a life...

  • that kind of drop can even 5dollar chinese plastic crap survive

  • Most LEDs can do that. And they dont cost $200

  • @flashlightfreak9

I hate when mine gets caught getting out of truck and hits the asphalt.

Then see impact marks in the aluminum edge of lens just kills me.

  • You haven't even hit the tip of the abuse iceberg my G2 has gone through. I managed to crush the batteries inside of the tube, and after changing batteries it still ran. After killing two other lights messing around the same day, I can say a Surefire is worth the extra cash. You don't have to believe me of course, do it for yourself.

  • @Monophony1

    yup, we were playing around

  • @ericssson

    prove that

  • @ericssson

ooo all capitols, that must make your opinion valid.. oh wait, nope..

You like to spend less, great, that doesn't make Surefire less quality

  • @GearBuyersGuide e2d led defender = 200 dollars for 200 lumens and 2 output modes

olight m21 warrior = 150 dollars for 500 lumens and 4 output modes including strobe.

    surefire......more like failfire.......or surefail.......

  • @mlgprotipsy Man relax, both Olight and Surefire make good flashlights. (:

  • @mlgprotipsy hey buddy look at the new g2x pro and g2x tactical surefire flashlights they are about 50 bucks and i have one and they are great

  • @ericssson No, price to value ration they are not, sure you could buy a mag lite but that will break eventually and they really aren't all that bright, a surfire will take any abuse the average joe can throw at it and is far far brighter than any flashlight like it.

  • @ericssson not true

  • What about under water or a proper impact test like driving a vehicle over it ? My cell phone could survive a "test" like this........ :-)

  • Thats nothing, I have put my aluminum body surefire lights through HELL and back, not one has failed me.

  • People are crazy they sell the g2 surefire for 100 bucks..thank god I got mines for free in the military it's good for going in buildings in the dark...USMC

  • This test is weak...my surefire got run over by a van still working XD. dumb in the water yes still working. Shot it by 223 round No not working after that XD

  • haha thats a tough flashlight. shame its busted though lol

  • what about the incandescent variant of the e2d? would the bulb survive that?

  • I doubt it, so I don't want to try it with any of mine, LOL

  • @krazYFaic

I did that a few times with mine, only thing that happened was the lens cap cracked a little, the bulb was fine.

  • i would not trust a fenix in a life and death situation...

  • You can, they are as tough and every but as reliable! Surefire does make an outstanding flashlight though!

In the youtube search bar type Will it Crush - Fenix T1 and see for yourself how tough they are!

  • good crush video

  • @CNEBUCKS

I've had 3 fenix tailcaps fail at really bad times, the 2 holed screw in tailcap plates aren't a good design

  • check out "tk 10 review and destruction"

    ull trust it.. lol

  • why look it up its scary what people do to them iv seen things that make this look like a cakewalk

  • @krazy22dude

    Why not?

  • @krazy22dude I would

  • @krazy22dude Um... I would. People say this kind of stuff as though they have tested the higher end Fenix lights and have evidence that they fail. I would DEFINITELY trust a Fenix light to be my primary duty light if I were a police officer or something similar. Fenix lights are amazing. So are 4Sevens, Jetbeam, Olight, etc. etc. etc.

Even lights like Olight and Jetbeam which I consider usually to be a bit higher end than even Fenix still often are cheaper than Surefire.

  • Did the optics in the E2DL get slightly misaligned after the drop?

  • nope, it seems fine, and I'm still carrying it

  • ouch... i felt the pain, i own a G2 and it's perfect... cool vid.

  • That's nothing, you can do the same test with a 3 D Maglite INCANDESCENT and it will still be fine. The fact that some Surefires have survived IED blasts is pretty impressive, though...

  • Yup, this was just us playing around
