I've seen this technique on other internet sites, and I think it's great. I just find it really difficult to find gel eyeliner and exactly such a brush. The eyeliner brushes I see in stores are a LOT thicker, unfortunately.

How do you find out what skin tone you are? How do you find out what skin type you are?

@HRTOACTIVIST Well,skin type : if ur skin is dry then it's dry :/ if it's oily then it's oily, and if u have an oily T-zone (nose and forehead) and dry/normal cheeks then u have combination skin.

Skin Tone : if u mean undertone (yellow or pink) then check the veins on ur wrists in natural sun light, if they appear more green then u have a yellow undertone, if they appear more blue then u have pink undertones..

Hope that helped, I got these tips when I started with makeup not a long time ago too

@HRTOACTIVIST Btw some even say that u can know ur undertone by seeing which colors look better on you, warm colors or cold colors, and some use just gold and silver, if u look better in gold then u have yellow undertones (warm skin), if u look better with silver then u have pink undertones (cold)..

I'm not really sure how accurate this is but it does work sometimes, so u can double check the results u get from ur vein test by trying some jewelry on :P

Yes, it will work with an eyeliner pencil.

yes ;) just stay between the lashes. Take the excess or spilled liner above the lashes off with a cue-tip

@jottem1234 I had a similar problem, try to look down and lift your eyelid a bit to get it out of the wiggle-way :-) works for me.

when i get the wand out of the mascara, i wipe some off (as you can tell, he barely has any mascara on the wand)...you should not have much on, just enough to get it on your lashes, hope this helps...

I agree. I also have seen maskira aplyed very poorly. Thank you so much. A friend of mine is always working on her lashes. She's blonde so of course her lashes are blonde as well. I always see her put on sooo much and I don't like the way it looks. I am so showing this to her. Luckily for me I was born with the perfect lashes. I'm not bragging lol but seriously I don't ever need to work on them! But then again my friend has the perfect skin she never needs to work on... lucky her!
