I've been really into this song and sound for couple of weeks now, I love the style. I have been working to immitate your sound and im trying to get close to your scale runs/patterns. I'm not a professional so I can't clearly hear the chord progressions. Can you give the basic chord/scale progressions? Either way, thank you, great music
I try my best not to pratice the scales to then use them in tunes. I try to play with the scales to practice. Learn all the scales you can find and then try to have fun with them. I'm working more from what I feel and hear around me form the other musicians when I play. Even when taking a stab at playing Trane's "Giant Steps" I'm aware of where I am in the song but I try my best not to make it sound like just chords and scales. Now that's a hard one though.
