Any 6lb+ Northern LMB is not an easy task to get. Something like that is equivalent to a 8lb+ Southern LMB. Nice Job!

Hey hows it goin, I just ordered a rod and it's great but one of the guides makes a funny clicking sound when I wiggle it back and forth barely, and I noticed a spot that looks like it could of used a bit of glue but didn't have any. If i put a drop of super glue in that spot to stop the guide from making the clicking sound will that work?

that fish is right around seven pounds. maybe a little under maybe right at seven. Ive caught and weighed alot of seven pounders and thats what they look like. nice fish for northern illinois! im spoiled in Cali

that seems to be the primary forage in most lakes in my area, ive been getting a few on Big swimbaits, and (white) swim jigs, and a few on 1 oz slow rolling #4 (black) single willow leaf spinner bait, using only a Berkley grass pig (blk/blu) as a trailer.
