Who was Bellatrix Lestrange?

Didn't all the old wizarding pure blood families have the power if gathered altogether, to destroy voldemort? Cut off the head and the snake will eventually die. Kill the leader and the followers will start losing their faith and start to slowly fall apart. Or are the old pure blood families also all evil? Is that why they followed voldemort? I know that Draco is not really evil afterall, but he sure is a coward. But in the end, even Draco and his parents were over with evil stuff.

Bellatrix is a fucking idiot, she is obsessed with keeping the pure bloods pure, and yet voldemort is only half blood but she truly loves him and in a sexual way so. She is maniacally against half bloods and muggles. And how come a half blood becomes the leader of all Slytherins? Not to mention becoming the master of almost all of the old and well respected powerful pure blood wizarding families such as the Blacks or the Malfoys? How come they all fear this one half blood guy?

Ok so she was born a pure blood with narcissa malfoy and the tonks girl as sisters( i dont know the name sorry) yes she was a follower of the dark lord so she tortured the longbottoms and got sent to azkaban and she escaped and she succesfully returned to the dark lord and made sure that draco killed dumbledore and if he didnt snape would have to do it. so then she killed her cousin sirius, and dobby and later was killed by molly weasley

Helena is an amazing actress and she played Bellatrix beautifully. it's a complicated multi-leveled role and I actually enjoy her character a lot, perhaps with the exception of one thing - her killing Sirius (who is my favorite character both in the books and the movies).

but I just generally don't get the hate for er persona in this story. she was very interesting, complicated and positively wild. everyone has a place in this world. stop being so childish.
