  • This is so not going to work on St Clair west. the whole idea is a joke.

  • @newsweekrocks What do you mean by that?

  • Say, my three year old appears in your video! 8)

  • @1:19 the left side is Mayor Ford sized

  • and we'll see this on the tracks in about.... hmmm.. let's say, 10 years.

  • @demonicDEBACLE Two, actually.

  • @gricer1326

they say two, but they really mean ten.

  • @demonicDEBACLE Projection much?

  • @demonicDEBACLE In about two-three years time.

  • @demonicDEBACLE 10 years if they're in a hard-working mood.

  • hey you noticed after ford came out so did the new subways & street cars?

  • @m33lad lol so true, people bitch about him all the time but he is the only Mayer in decades to put the time effort and money into public transit.

  • @Baseshocks ya bro remember what davild miller jack ass did? keep adding price tags on everything with no sense of purpose.

  • It's not a Streetcar, it is a LRT!

There is a difference you know...

  • Not sure if the new streetcars will have horns asides from the gongs they have on most of the existing models (in the case of the horns). Are the existing streetcars allowed to operate without a horn if they have the gong working only?

  • @AlexRampaul They will have horns, however the current mechanical gongs are to be replaced with electronic ones.

  • @gricer1326 I have noticed that some of the existing streetcar horns sound funny (using a car-like horn sound for some) than the other ones have, was it either because the horn is dying out or was it replaced with a new one?

  • @AlexRampaul Likely.

  • They look okay, I guess. Nothing to get excited over.

  • @MrPATRICK416 No they will not. As required by new provincial law, all transit vehicles must have their heating system turned all the way up all year long. This means that in the middle of August when its 30 degrees outside the streetcars will have the heat on max. Additionally, public transit vehicles will need to have humidifiers on all year long. This is to ensure that the new vehicles remain hot and humid to simulate summertime weather.

  • will they finally be air conditioned?

  • @MrPATRICK416 : Yes they will. Everything vistarox said is not true. Some of the streetcars now even have a/c.

  • @Jaye101 Vistarox was being sarcastic.

  • @MrPATRICK416 Yes, the new TTC streetcars should have air-conditioning units avaliable.
