Not sure if the new streetcars will have horns asides from the gongs they have on most of the existing models (in the case of the horns). Are the existing streetcars allowed to operate without a horn if they have the gong working only?
@gricer1326 I have noticed that some of the existing streetcar horns sound funny (using a car-like horn sound for some) than the other ones have, was it either because the horn is dying out or was it replaced with a new one?
@MrPATRICK416 No they will not. As required by new provincial law, all transit vehicles must have their heating system turned all the way up all year long. This means that in the middle of August when its 30 degrees outside the streetcars will have the heat on max. Additionally, public transit vehicles will need to have humidifiers on all year long. This is to ensure that the new vehicles remain hot and humid to simulate summertime weather.
This is so not going to work on St Clair west. the whole idea is a joke.

@AlexRampaul They will have horns, however the current mechanical gongs are to be replaced with electronic ones.
