This is so audibly pleasing with the serenity swarming you and the compression of lots of sentiments all being juxtaposed, thus establishing cathartic music. Beethoven will be a perpetual genius, and nobody will subvert how fundamental this music is, and will be, inherently.
@Handeltasche Sry hahaha gotta disagree with you. I love both of them. Then again both of them have different styles of playing. The way I see it is Beethoven's music is more emotional and it grabs your heart whereas Mozart"s music was engineered into perfection. His music may not grab the heart as well as Beethoven's can but his music is heaven to my ears(no kidding). Well that's my opinion :P
if beethoven were alive (and not deaf), he'd give you a pat on the back. seriously your as good as if not better than professionals, the likes of rubinstein, horowitz, wilhelm.
I don't know who's playing this version but gould, rubenstein, kempff and pretty much every other pianist that i've heard play this piece, they can all suck this guys balls. Gould plays it too fast, kempff plays it too slow and rubenstein? well it just doesn't sound right.
This deserves more views. After all, this is the best version on youtube. (the 8 bit version and the mario paint versions are also worth checking out)
@Tammc09 Yes, as a matter of fact i was aware of that form in freewill via you tube, however, i chose not to spell the word in its correct form, in celebration of this deceased genious, i thought a little creative play on the word was fitting.....it is interesting that my abbreviated pg-13 version compelled you to comment though.... and i applaud you for your very in depth explanation through example. Maybe teaching is your true calling Tammc09......
Very very nice version. I was a bit skeptical at first, considering this being a bit too chaotic, but it in the end sounds very "alive" and romantic. Superb.
@Agilthoniel I dont give a shit what it means, I'm still a beginner at music, I just said it was really fast, i just like the way this song sounds when it's a bit slower.
@Agilthoniel don't be a douchebag. also dont reply with "im not, im just....", cause you are (being a douchebag). btw @BrutalEpicMetal presto agitato is Italian for quickly and agitated dont let this douche make you feel bad for not knowing another language. it only shows that he doesnt know how to appreciate music being appreciated. too bad some people feel they need to be tools and downers like that.

I think the best of this piece is that it has no tempo (I mean, it's like rubato), it makes it sound so natural and special...Long live this piece!
