I always would threatin my brothers and sisters when they were little: " you open that door, you and your going to get it! i dont care who it is.. you dont open that door... only adults can open it.. I dont care if its your dad, he doesnt live here.. !
She was my friend. Her sister is my friend. Yes people are looking for her and we never gave up hope. Don't make rude or negative comments. Help us find her! Spead the word.
@imatravis8683, I have to agree with you, because i believe that, Shawn Hornbeck was kidnapped and was found alive, Elizabeth Smart was kidnapped and was found alive, and We won't ever forget when Jaycee Dugard was kidnapped and was found alive, and has two kids of her own, so I think that this girl will be found alive.
That's The Reason Why Children (no matter how old they are, when they're 4,5.6,7,8-years-old, and like The Rock said It doesn't matter) should never, evver answer the door, but I think that this girl might've been picked, and might've been sold into slavery, and forced to do child porn, or heaven knows what else, oh btw I think that girl should've had a secret code or a password.
That girl in the restaurant knew those people were going to kill her, and she probably didn't run away from them because she was scared if she didn't get away what would happen. The waitress was not smart enough to catch what was going on. Maybe when people go missing there needs to be pictures of the people everywere, and maybe then the waitress would have noticed her.
What is even more odd about this case is how did the kidnappers know the child would answer the door. They must have been watching her for awhile before taking her. I can't imagine what the outcome would be if her parents opened the door instead. Even if her sister yelled or screamed for her parents they would have taken her anway, and drove off as fast as they could. These people wanted to get her. There really wasn't much they could do.
I believe it should be up to the parents when to say we are going to stop looking for their child. Not the public's look at Jaycee Dugard's story. She was 29 when she was found and never tried to reach out to anyone. How many more are like that?
@foxyroxy2005 Thats just it they dont know they have died. So the ache goes on. No real parent ever gives up the search for their missing child. What if she is still out and finds out her family has given up searching for her? how do you think that would make her feel? I dont like you attitude about this issue mainly because it can get children killed. Look at the Shasta and Dylan Groene case. Shasta was recovered alive but Dylan died. Because people gave up looking because it had been so long.
@foxyroxy2005 yes it is possible check out Jaycee Dugard, Elizabeth Smart, Steven Stayner, Shawn Hornbeck, Jessyca Mullenberg, Carlina White, Natascha Kampasch, Delimar Vera or any of the other children that have come home againist all odds.
Why didn't they give out composite sketches of the couple that was in the restaurant with the girl that may have been Anthonette? We don't know if it was her, but its probably worth getting a description of the people that might be with her.
@mamacita221 I hope they can find her. Have they tried to get her case on Nancy Grace? Are they planning on doing anything for the 25th anniversary of her disappearance? I have looked on several different sites such as NCMEC, Charley Project, and the Doenetwork and it seems as if nothing new has been developed on her case in a long time.
@mamacita221 How do u know her Mom died in 1999? I have always remembered this case from Unsolved Mysteries I was aroun 7 years old when it first came on it has always haunted me. I wonder if she was murdered because she tried to contact the police. I havent seen any new shows done on this case even after Jaycee Dugard and Elizabeth Smart. Are u related to her? She has sisters and I wonder if they r still searching for her.
@Changetheplanet2010 she contacted the police a year after her disapearence so she was about 10 years old then later the waitress saw her again and she looked like she was about 14 so she could'nt be murdered about calling police she could of been murdered when the kidnapper found out that everyone is looking for her i dont know its a mystery
@Bubbleblastboo they know the girl who called 911 was Anthonette. But no one has been able to prove that the girl in the resturant was Anthonette. I always wondered if Anthonette was murdered for reaching out to the police when she was 10. If she was able to do it at 10 why not at 30+ years old. I always hoped she hadnt been murdered for reaching out to the police but what other explanation is there? If she was the girl in the resturant then still why hasnt she reached out again?
@roguegirl29 I would hope that to be true but after 25 years it is highly unlikely. I hope her mother found answers and peace that she didnt find in this life.
The little sister is stupid. Why didn't she scream for her mom immediately? Or when they were searching the next day for Anthonette, why didn't she say anything?
I think that they should've given more information on her appearance. How many girls can you guys name right off the bat that have brown hair and brown eyes? Give us something other then that. Did she have birthmarks? Scars? Piercings? Did she stutter?
@roguegirl29 excellent point. the following info from internet: Black hair, dark brown eyes. She has moles on her right cheek, nose, back and one of her ankles and has scars on one of her knees and on her lip. Her ears are pierced.
@firfuxsake The one thing that I've always wondered is if her father had something to do with her kidnapping. I've done a lot of web searches on Anthonette and there's no info about her father anywhere regarding wether he was involved or not.
she has kids of here own and was brainwashed which is why she doesn't try and contact her family and she is a prisoner of prostitution in Albuquerque.
@Georgie2500 No one can say for sure that it was her. Regardless, if she had tried to escape, and failed, then she would be severely punished or even killed.
My first thought would be to investigate Phillip Garrido, but he was in prison when this happened. Perhaps Brian David Mitchell would be a suspect? It's worth a shot. I'd like to know if the waitress can give a description of the couple that she saw. And did they search registered sex offenders in and around the area?
I am also 25 years old. I remember this I wonder why she didnt get any coverage after Jaycee Dugard was discovered because if any of these children are still alive I believe that she is one of them.
@Changetheplanet01 I agree. The sad thing about Jaycee Dugard is that a lot of parents are getting their hopes up about finding their missing child alive after all these years. While it is hard to give up hope, the sad reality is that Jaycee is the exception rather than the rule. I do think it's possible that Anthonette is alive, being kept under similar conditions to Jaycee. Jaycee's mother and my mother are old friends form high school, and it was just remarkable that she was found alive...
@eldiablov2 I certainly believe there are others especially the ones that are under 5. I also wonder how many lived years after their abduction and were then murdered and how many died in child birth. Check out the charleyproject there are many children that could still be alive and even though yes many if not most long term missing children are probably dead. No real parent gives up hope of an answer and yes even againist all odds that there child is still alive.
@Changetheplanet01 I've seen the charleyproject. I know it's hard to give up hope, but still, it has to be hard knowing that Jaycee is the exception rather than the rule.
This case seems strange though, to me, so many things just seem a bit off.....
i feel so bad about this case. i am in my mid 20s, and i remember seeing this case on UM when i was just a little kid, but for all te hundreds of UM cases and other crime episodes over the years, this single case has been the most deeply embedded in my mind and heart. i have faith that she is alive, beyond that i hate to speculate. if they had (AMBER alert) in 1986 then possibly she would have been found quickly. i pray for Anthonette and her family. Im confident someday she will be found safe.
the age progression of Anthonette (around 3.21)at 14 years look scary. Are the FBI sure that Anthonette might look like that? It looks like she has took drugs!
Alberuquerque, That's In New Mexico, And That Other Voice Sounded Like A Latino Man Or Woman, But I Think That Lil Girl Should Never, Evvver Answered The Door, If I had A four-year-old Son, I would Tell Him To Never, Evver Answer The Door To Strangers, And We Would Also Have A Secret Password Too.

She was probably asleep. Some people are very heavy sleepers. I think it's odd that her little sister was more worried about "getting in trouble" than helping her sister.

kr1pl2, I would have to agree with you, And I Think That Lil Girl's Mom Should've Teach Her Lil Girl a Secret Password, So If They Don't Know The Secret Password, Then She Would'nt Open The Door.
