  • @k2stypoint moonshine is deeply embedded in the culture of America. Anyway I think you are an ATF AGENT AND A NARC, SO FUCK YOU!!!!!

  • Watching that old timey fella dancing is about the funnies thing I've ever seen. He looked like a crooked armed monkey humping a door knob! He also seemed very happy as well! It's a messed up deal in this country where a man can't do as he pleases with his time, body and property. Big government, taxes and over spending have killed the free man!

  • I want to always remember seeing Popcorn dancing around doing a little jig...He sure looked happy when he was doing what he did well...I wish I would have met him before he passed, although I had nothing to offer I'm sure he had alot to say when he felt the need to talk....RIP Popcorn.....

  • Shit I'll work that hard for it

  • no dislikes... just how it should be

  • All I could think about when I saw Popcorn dance, is simply the word "freedom". And his death symbolizes what our government wants to do with freedom. They want to kill it forever, but as long as we have the spirit of people like Popcorn Sutton, they will never prevail.

  • americas next top dancer..

  • This is for J.B. Seeing as you got legal are you maken the moonshine with Pam? Is it the same recipe you sell in the store? Mr Sutton said you can still make it so just wondering if your keeping it alive for Popcorn!! This is amazing!!

  • Someone told me to write a comment..... sorry.

  • To bad. I've had good moonshine and he's right about it becoming a thing of the past. I don't understand why this is illegal. I see nothing wrong with it. It's no different than when i make beer. It's all about the tax money.

  • @sharpie443 its illegal to sell it. certain places you can make it for your own consumption. but not sell it

  • @GregoryJohnsonJr I thought it was federally regulated.

  • popcorn is downtrodden in this video, ill promise he is smiling down on me and i never met him, the art is not dead

  • WildlifeSeriaLKiller: I want to thank you for putting up Popcorn videos he was a great man.

  • Slick dance moves bigup Popcorn!

  • 8:20 360 no scope.

  • i'm curious to know how much he pulled down a year from selling moonshine, on average. 40k in todays dollars, maybe 30k.

  • I've recently discovered Popcorn Sutton and I love his country wisdom and I must say this feller was an American original how anyone could dislike folks like this is beyond me. I love country folk.

  • that dance was gangstah. a true OG....... RIP to good likker.

  • this is a real history lesson

  • how many galon is that pot?

  • He's totally right about the moonshine dying, too much work for lazy kids these days. They want it handed to them

  • @cuppycake42674 i know people that work twice as hard as this 7 days a week....making moonshine isnt hard work at all.

  • @k2stypoint Coming from a producer I commented on your post in part 3! I see on your channel that your in the industry, now I have stayed up many long nights working on masterpieces of music but you can't even compare your fucking self to this man this is hard fucking work.

  • @Jacksonboi30052 Im not saying he didnt work hard....but pretty much every job i have ever had is just as hard as what he is doing...not to mention he makes his own hours, and im sure got a lot more money...i dont benefit off music...i have to work backbreaking labor just like the majority of Americans who have gotten caught up in the legal system..Popcorn is the shit...i am just trying to set some ppl straight for the claims they make.

  • @cuppycake42674 Yeah like K2stypoint!

  • My Great Great Uncles Lump Dutch and Hip were bootleggers. Im sure this is what they were like.

  • hill people knew what to do to revenuers...sadly the spirit of our people is being lost...its great traditions and self-reliance has been perverted by food stamps and big pharma...

  • @centervilletn food stamps are ok there just givin them to dumabsses buyin crack wit the moeny they cld get there own shit with. and big pharma is the devil lol

  • ol J.B. back there workin his ass off

  • Pretty nice walter houston at 8 min

  • he brings up a good point, he paid taxes on all the supplys that he used to make "likker" and the way i see it once you bought it its yours to do with as you please. the government shouldn't be allowed to put a ban on what you want to make from the what you legal bought.

  • I took an interest in his method of construction, a more earthen approach, with the rich clay and local stone, and with it resting on the side of the hill. Alot of old hand me down wisdom, that may very well be completely gone someday.

  • The fact he keeps repeating "This is my last time..".. You can tell how sad he is ab it, just not an emotional guy.. Incredibly sad...

  • popcorn dancing made me so happy:)

  • What an individual! I never knew him personally. But when I heard he is no longer with us, my heart sank. R.I.P. The BEST vid I have ever seen on you tube.

  • i dont see where he was hurting anyone to deserve what he felt he had to do to get the hell away from dam nosey people and the dam law who by the way are worst that he ever was....

  • What Fine feller popcorn was,,,Dam shame nosey people told on him and that caused the law to harrass him and try to put him in jail ...So the dam nosey people caused his death!!!!

  • You can get um for 20 or 25..You need to know who your getin it from you can get some bad shit.BAD SHIT..THATS for a quart

  • hey jb talk to me

  • I wonder what a Jar would cost

  • @Divine83 a half gallon mason jar of the good stuff will run you 15 $ maybe if its made right

  • @nick12921 we get ours down here for about 25, but its them big mason jars.

  • @Divine83 Depends who you know and how good you know them

  • @Divine83 50 yrs ago it was 10 buks fer half a pint fer pure likker. now its (what i get out of it) 30 dollars a jar. but its well worth it

  • @Divine83 There is and was no set price for a jar. It can sell for 10 to 40 bucks a jar. It all depends on the reputation of the guy selling it and market demand for it at the time. To my knowledge, my great great grandfather never actually sold any. He simply traded it for goods and services. He even traded it to doctors for medical care. He was known for producing the best in his day, and I'd bet that popcorn learned the trade from him. He would have been popcorn's grandfather.

  • @Divine83 since no one makes the damn stuff anymore you could probably sell a jar for 100 -120 dollars, i use to know an old boy that lived up in the hills that made it, we were the only ones that knew what he was doing up there and he would always give us a little bit not to say shit. 180 proof i miss that old boy

  • @poolduckypoolducky a jar in ga 160 is 25 dollars . depends on who makes it... what you made it out of. an who you are.

  • @Divine83 Man you can believe me or not, but I live here in Sevierville Tn, and my best friend is a ranch hand for Wallace Sutton, who is popcorns second cousin. Wecan get a pint for 40 and a gallon for 70. Not sure if it's pops corns batch or his batch, but it's popcorns recipe and believe me, just the smell will knock you off your feet. Me personally, way to strong, but those boys drink it like water. Like I said, believe me or not.

  • @stephen01619 i was just down there for my buds wedding! now they sell his recipe in some of the liquor stores down there cause hank williams jr and some guy popcorn knew collabed and got it legal to make, its official. i like the smoky mountain distillery shine. i brought some back to NY! so gooooood

  • @bigpoppasmurf Yea man, Next time your this way, if you'll stop in Buddy's BBQ on the parkway in Pigeon Forge you'll get to see one of popcorns old steels.. I live on English MTn and the Mtn this doc was filmed on in just a vally over, clear view of it in the fall when the leafs are off the trees. Oh and that carvers restaurant he mention is the other video, the also have a carvers apple orchard, check that out sometime too if your back down this way.

  • @stephen01619 I will def be going back down there. ive never felt more at home in a place ive never been before then down there in TN. I will def check out those spots when i go back down! Thank you for the info! i cant wait to go back down, my jars passed the half way point, and i need more! haha, probably save my last little bit for new years eve though. hahaha. take care stephen01619

  • @stephen01619 Awesome man! I believe you bro! cool story to share! Thanks!

  • @Divine83 10

  • @Divine83 Probably 10-40 bucks. I am from and grew up in Tennessee, my dad's parents made moonshine, and we still buy it here.

  • @Divine83 Popcorns moonshine was the stuff of legend, reportedly it was so valuable they used it as currency at one time. Average gallon prolly run you 40 to 50 bucks give or take 20 bucks depending on area.

  • @Divine83 100 bux did u not watch the rest

  • @Divine83 If you buy a actual jar of moonshine it would coast you anywhere from 5-30 dollars depending on how much you get, what the season is, and what they used.

Actual moonshine CAN'T be bought in stores.

  • im naming my son after this Hill Person! R.I.P. POPCORN!!!!!
