All three Machinima makers are highly competent and have a unique style.

I like Darkspire's take on comedy, especially the punchline drop-offs like in this video, even if they're not ALL great.

DigitalPh3ar knows how to make a good point, and I'd consider his approach to be that of an idealist satirist. His primary goal alongside entertaining is setting examples, and his sense of humor is also unique. His lack of varied voice talents is often annoying though. I get tired of hearing his voice

And naturally, Rooster Teeth is the Pixar of the Machinima world. Talent wise, they've been at Machinima for so long that they've mastered every small glitch and nuance in the engine. More impressive however, is their consistency in being able to create a cast of unique and instantly classic characters. Their ensemble of classic characters helps the series write itself, even at times when the plot itself lags a little.

RoosterTeeth has the upper hand, but it's good to see other talent rising.
