FANTASTIC footage! i'm contemplating buying one of these cams soon-ish.
great use of the 20/cine mode. even though i've read that the 24p on this camera is just an "effect", Canon definitely knew what they were doing when they built this consumer camera.
and you've been one of many who have proved that with established camera-handling skills, as well as an eye for editing, flash-based cameras are capable of giving impressive results.
question though: i heard that image quailty suffers with flash based cameras due to compression in editing. yet i see this. what gives? is there a certain setting that needs to be used.
Hello thank you for watching, there are several steps to get the best quality when editing, you first see the quality with which you record, in this case this video was recorded at 24mb / s the highest quality of the camera, second the video was edited and exported to a format wmv hd to 720p which is less than the original source and then was uploaded to youtube, the quality would be better still exporting to 1080p. i used sony vegas 9 for edit, i think is one of the best way to use hd files.
