Yeshua name is not a new trend it was then as it is today... what's taking place is that belivers are breaking away from the vast denominations in CHRISTANTY all man made and breaking away from the western mind set of interpretation and the Greece interpretation of messiah's name does not supersede the Hebrew pronunciation.

I don't think Paul called the Lord 'Jesus' as he (Paul / Sha'ul) was a Hebrew living in Israel and IMHO would have called Him by His Hebrew Name. Just my 2 cents. I think the catholic church changed the names !

We can still learn alot about scripture from messianics.as they can clear up alot of misunderstanding that we sometimes have about Jewish culture and sometime this influneces understanding of scripture. They also have existed before 1960, more like from 30AD as the first christians were messianic.But yeah guess Jesus mean the same as Yeshua, as he has responded to prayer on Jesus for along time.It basically just the greek pronounciation. like your website good sources to respond to catholics
