If you have a game and it relies on servers maintained by the game company itself and not the players/third parties, I think you should expect there to be little to no lag. No lag is of course gaming utopia, but you can always update/move hardware to match demand.

It's battlefield 2 modern combat for PS2, xbox, and xbox 360. It doesn't allow users to set up their own servers, you have to play on the EA servers. You can't even set up a lan game O_o
