I took up sign language back in 05 for a year. Originally I wanted to be an interpreter. Just be careful, because different states and countries have accents too in the motions the word for birthday in one area signed is a whole different word somewhere else. Sign language is absolutely beautiful. My teacher Mary Beth was amazing too.. I miss those classes. Good luck with your ASL

I've been meaning to start sign language classes for YEARS AND YEARS, must be 10 years since I first thought about doing it, but it's one of those things I've yet to get around to.  Good on you for your effort Eric, seems like you learnt lots already. xxx
