Thanks for uploading. Interesting to see this bot, but I'm a bit disappointed that it really isn't much more exciting to watch than the 30 year old Heathkit Hero series!
After all it's just a pc on wheels with some sensors. I think it might be fun for a few days to have him roam around but after a few days it would get boring, at least for me. Bit too expensive for that, but definitely looking cool, i like the design.
Wow.... Coool!!!! You did it with Python? If you did it with python, it's cool. I'm using python just for programing gui windows. But you knows many things. Greetings, I'll subscribe on you channel.
That do not impress me for a robot of 8000$ CAD, what i whant to see it is a robot who can reconize voice command or simply reconize a call like "Robot Come here to see me....WHAT IS YOUR WISH" it is that i want to see form a robot wich which very expensive vault.
Well I guess you have to have a use for a mobile robot before you go out and buy one - then you already know what you want it for. Lots of them go to commercial companies to build applications on top of, or to universities so they can do research into autonomous vehicles etc -- think DARPA grand challenge on a smaller scale. It's basically a development platform so it's for you to write the software, but for a commercial grade robot the nearest competitor is over twice the price.
seriously the bot is trying to kill the dogs !

8K and you don't even get an arm. Shame the original Hero robot is no more. And what's up with running the script remotely? Can't it run it locally?

I'm actually the admin at 914pcbots . com and my other website is xrobots . co . uk, so I'm a robot enthusiast - I don't really need a use ;-)
