  • So they translated this from an english song? it says english lyrics by kate voegele?

  • @mzpoonie No, this is a remake. It's of Kate Voegele's song Angel for the TV series One Tree Hill. The lyrics are completely different. :)

  • @CpopAccessMVs I noticed that too :). I just started playing the Angel song by Kate Voegele and I noticed the music was very similar if not the same.

  • hebe is cool~

  • ahhh. I like this. the song, the video, the concept. very well done.

    S.H.E 万岁~ :)

  • umm "愛就對了" doesn't translate into "just love" =/

  • @longliveemomusic well... it kind of does? in a really colloquial and not literal sense. like, in this case "愛就對了" is like a response that someone would say by giving advice. you know? like, "ugh life is so complicated, blah blah". and you could respond "愛就對了" in the same sense as saying "just love".

  • @Shabei09 That's still really a stretch... like .... you wouldn't translate it into that without putting it into that context beforehand. In my opinion, if you don't assume context, it translates better into "love is the answer" or "love is right" ._.

  • @longliveemomusic While that's true, I feel like when you translate the title of a Chinese song, you should do it from the meaning of the song lyrics and not as an isolated phrase. In this case, "just love" makes more sense and better reflects the meaning of the lyrics. Even if you don't assume context, "love is right" would be more accurately translated into 爱是对的 rather than 愛就對了. The 就 indicates that 爱 should be a verb. :]
