i don't think Machida vs Silva fight is boring, that fight would be very interesting to watch with 2 superior fighters on their feet. I think that would be the greatest technical battle in MMA.
If they weren't friends it might, but if they were to fight under todays current circumstances it would probably be boring because they would just end up sparring and not really trying to hurt eachother.

I understand what you're trying to say but consider all the young people training Karate and wanting to test themselves in MMA. This DVD is perfect for them! I'm sure that someone from a Karate background would benefit greatly from these disks. Maybe we will soon see many Karate fighters enter MMA following Lyoto's example.
I used to be a pure a Karate guy - Lyoto opened my eyes to MMA and grappling. I've learned a lot, I feel a lot stronger now and I'm enjoying every minute of training.
I think young people should start karate or wrestling and then move on. Machida has helped because he has shown how hard and soft techniques can transition to mma. That's great. I didn't like Rashad, and so I was totally going for Lyoto. What I was saying is you won't solve the riddle of how to beat Machida with these materials. No how no way. Any more than Gable tapes make you beat Gable or Tiger's book can make you Tiger. Time and Discipline.
