  • WELL ITS 1969 BAAAAAAAAAAAYYYYYBAAAAAAEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Great unit ! I'm gonna build a germanium one from the schematic. Make sure to get

    - Carbon fibre resistors (two 22k, one 1M, one 47k, one 100k and one 10M),

    - Ceramic capacitors ( three 0.005µF and a pair of 0.002µF) + one polar 25µ (which originally was a manganese dioxide but a modern one it will not change anything)

    - And 2 germanium transistors, 2N2613 & 2N408 (both very rare, but not impossible to find if you look hard !).

There is a good layout for beginers on goggle image ! Have fun !

  • yea Ron Asheton RIP.the best guitar player of all time used this pedal.

  • @237iggy You Mean Davie Allan or Nokie Edwards right?;]'

  • I could just image Ron Asheton stomping on that pedal when he recorded 1969

  • is the ac100 cph pedal friendly? have u compare it with ac50?

  • Made by Mosrite, the guitar company, in southern california.

  • That's the pedal which was used for Iron Butterfly's "In A Gadda Da Vida".

  • I am guessing this MUST 've been made by Electro-Harmonix, no? Likely

rarer than Hen's Teeth.. 1st one IO have ever seen.. But.. why so short on the Demo??

  • @timjmoran Are you blind? It reads "Mosrite" right on the pedal. Let's go, guy.

  • @ttrisking1011 Ah HA.. So it DOES.. I stand suitably chastened... thank you Mr Ris-King, for your eagle eye.

BUT.. ya gotta admit.. it LOOKs a a hella lot like it COULD have been made by EH... don't know if they ever

made pedals for other Mfg.. but they Could have... and Mosrite was not exactly known for their pedals,

    were they??

  • @timjmoran

It's funny you mention EH. If you read the history about the fuzzrite, Mike Matthews was commissioned to build the guild fuzzrite after Mosrite went out of business. At about 1968 he changed the name to foxey lady and then to axis fuzz which is the first EH product besides the LPB1. That axis fuzz became the triangle muff most likely to avoid legal problems. Look for kitrae's big muff site, he talks all about it.

BTW that fuzzrite is just downright nasty and the way it should sound

  • sounds like something ed roth would draw..

  • Sounds like an electric chainsaw. Sweet.

  • Holy christ that thing is loud or what !

  • thick as karl pilkington.

    i love it!

  • How were the knob settings on the fuzzrite?
