  • @TVDeathWish try listening to aghora there pretty badass and some sick bass

  • @habitatnoah11 I listened to a few of their songs but I can't say they're my cup of tea, thanks anyway

  • @TVDeathWish i know you would like sleep terror

  • @TVDeathWish Try Death's last 2 albums if you haven't heard them. Not quite as wacky, but still pretty damn good.

Also, Atheist as well, if you haven't heard them.

  • penis

  • i dont care for it. sorry for expressing my opinion.

    please respect it

  • terrific bridge .

  • All the Amogh fans, you will be shocked (in a good way) after listening to Vishal's new project. Search for Feathers of Jatinga on youtube. Beautiful tunes

  • @koolsaqib Check Robots Pulling Levers if you haven't already. You can find it on Soundcloud.

  • @XTVille Of course I have, Mark Hawkins is sick.

  • @koolsaqib Indeed he is!

  • this is so AWESOME I love their IDEA So Creative and exotic I alway's love what I do not understand

  • @esara6 That's a beautiful attitude. The mentality of a true explorer.

  • @TheVildgris this Genre is only good if you can get past the loudness of it or the blast beat's I have to be honest this song sure touch my wounds.

  • @TheVildgris Exactly !!

  • I really like his stuff. I think if he was able to commercialize his tone. People would eat this shit up.

  • @one50watts8ohm but why, what is the point?

  • @FuckinLittleDreamer Why not?

  • @one50watts8ohm because whynot is pointless

  • @FuckinLittleDreamer You make 0 sense. Have a nice day.

  • God I cannot stop listening to this guy. He has blown my mind 8 times in the last hour. Keep this shit up Vishal.

  • DAT BASS

  • This is freaking awesome.

  • 5 Bieber's fans have heard this.

  • I am proud to be indian!

  • progressive means "using some stuff from jazz", nothing more. like 40 years before.

  • @kwaka66666 uh call me stupid but im PRETTY sure the label PROGRESSIVE has much more to do with the PROGRESSION of the song.... you know i might just be BAT SHIT insaine over here but i do beleive you're slightly misled

  • @XDXC420X you would have to be bat shit insane to believe he is slightly mislead, since he is completely wrong.

  • @kwaka66666 hahaha

  • thanks for uploading all these awesome bands. I have found 5-6 bands thanks to you chief!

  • Tip for anyone trying to play this from sheet music: once put through a paper shredder, it all makes perfect sense. Like the movie 'Mask', where Stoltz looks in the funhouse mirror and sees a perfectly normal version of himself. Tight innit.

  • lol out of curiosity i searched for 'experimental progressive technical death metal'.

    Interesting result!

  • @GrinderDevil you have hit jackpot, buddy

  • I like the ideas that are being played. The drummer knows what he is doing but the mix is not entirely good. You can hear the slap bass, thumbs up for that but I don't like the guitar sound and the synths which have an old midi sound to me...

  • @jajajah86 I think he's sort of going for that effect, but I agree with you that really old midi has a sort of cheesy sound that I don't like hearing a lot.

  • @jajajah86 Drums have been programmed as far as I know. Myself, I somehow love the overall atmosphere Vishal managed to put in here, but hey, world would be a boring place if we all agreed on everything :P

  • @XTVille No, The drums are Vishal J singh's work. He was initially a drummer and then turned to guitar at the age of 13, if my facts are correct. He has a Roland electronic drum kit and Axis Longboards. TQHC is the only album where he isn't drumming.

  • @TheEvilskum Ah, alright. I knew that he's a drummer, but I thought all AS songs were programmed. One hell of a musician... Do you know if he has drummed in Acrophase too? The drums there sound very computer-like, but I guess they could be played with the electric kit.

I heard a week ago that he's working on an AS-DVD which will contain all AS songs and tutorials (apparently playthroughs). Maybe we'll get drums too!

(Drummer and guitarist myself as well)

  • the cover is what blow up dolls will look like in the future

  • don't judge a song by its genre.

  • Seriously guys, who cares? It's not like Vishal thinks "Oh, now I will make progressive music!" He's a genious, I think it's clear he has invented a style that suits him perfectly. Actually, the fact that you're arguing about the genre already tells that he does not sound exactly like something else - not even close.

The only genre for this is Amogh Symphony.

  • @XTVille >genious

  • @CorporateNothing I know, I saw that too. Too bad we don't have an edit button.

  • HUH BUGGER DIS NO PROGGY @ ALL.

The music of Progressive Metal features complex, layered arrangements in longer than typical songs, often including lengthy instrumental passages allowing the performers to display technical proficiency and interplay.

    derp.

I also like how the uploader has more than just progressive in the genre part and yet everybody's just razzing on that. So if it isn't progressive, it's experimental/technical death metal. Still sounds accurate...

    Anyway, liked and faved.

  • the song would of been imence if they finnished it at 5:35

  • Beautiful!

  • Very, very nice material. Gotta hear more!

  • freaking awesome

  • This guitar tone is vicious.

  • 1st time hearing this band

    1st reaction is simply...wow

  • ha just noticed what the guy who posted this named himself. funny

  • I've never actually heard this album, but i am in love with quantum hack code so I thought i would give it a listen. am not disappoint

  • and thats the beauty of it, its all an opinion and by saying that youve just said shit, so did you think twice

  • 5/5

  • I don't care for metal, but this is pretty good shit.

  • you cant bag on a band unless you know you can do better, also let me remind you that this is all one guy doing this. progressive just means music metal or metal with actual musicianship and this has it

  • @deleriumtheblacksun0 It's nice of you trying to defend the band, but you've said shit. Think twice before saying shit like that.

  • maybe if some people had a wider view of music they would know there are many differences in prog bands. also anyone who says this aint progressive is retarded cuz this song changes up alot. progressive does mean everchanging. therefor this song is progressive. hense: progressive metal.

  • Could anyone please do me a copy of this album. I've tried everything and still can't get hold of it.

  • Morbid electronix

  • Comment removed

  • @JMrockguy yeah, this tune is not too prog. it is mainly a one man band tech metal tune we've all heard in one form or another. that is why The Quantum Hack Code has live drums. TQHC is way more progressive, and has acoustic drums in it.

  • apu plays so well D:

  • @edgallo Unfunny reference to Ray is unfunny.

  • @jmrocker: Dude do some research by Googling some reviews about any artist before regurgitating your shit all over YOUTUBE and contaminating us with your mediocrity and ignorance.

  • Comment removed

  • Gotta love this shit (y)

  • I like it. Faved. @jmrocker why even care about the genre? You sound more like a hipster yourself than the poster o_O

  • @jmrocker

There is nothing progressive about you Raping a Porcupine Tree song on one of your cover videos on your channel.

  • @jmrocker

I'm still wondering how you can say anything bad about any song after that cover you posted of that Porcupine Tree song.

  • @PunksDeadEmoK1dsN3xt well since you're too fucking stupid to move beyond that I guess I'm done, I think it's safe to say you fail miserably

  • @PunksDeadEmoK1dsN3xt xD i like the fact that guy owned your ass yet you insist on making it seem like your winning

  • @ZombieManWorks

How did he own his ass? All he did was say that Amogh Symphony isn't original which is total bullocks. Did he prove it? If you're shitty musician then you aren't in the position to criticize something like this. Name one band coming before Amogh Symphony that had the indian influence like this in them. Their use of polymeters and polyrhythms is also very unique.

  • @Fluffypopcicle not completely the same sound but i hope you know Animals as Leaders

  • @bullrage74

Of course I know Animals as Leaders. Amogh Symphony came first though isn't exactly a very "Indian" vibe to them.

  • @jmrocker hahahaha..Yeahh..Your cover fucking sucks...And by the way..I saw Pocupine Tree a few month ago..And I think this got a little of progressive....

  • @anormalnick nah, I've heard tons of bands that sound the exact same, also if you read the description you'd see I just wanted feedback on my singing you illiterate fuck

  • @jmrocker there are a lot of progressive bands, and there are too many sounding just exact, but there´s no reason for no quality..so wth are you talking about..are you idiot?¿?¿This is simple..Your taste about music is the worst ever..A person with a stratovariou cover in his channel cant talk properly here..hahaha..Just two fucking different worlds..If you wanted feedback on your singing I can give you my advise now..You can get a life beacuse your singing its fucking horrible.. WORST COVER EVER

  • @anormalnick lol idc about my covers, doesn't change the fact that this music is shit. Like I said, there are a million bands that sound EXACTLY like this, there is nothing innovative here at all. If you're going to call this progressive then you might as well call Lil Wayne and Katy Perry progressive, because they're about on the same level.

  • @jmrocker To compare this with Kate Perry says a lot from you ..WOW..INCREDIBLE.....and the way you understand music its just worng..If you cant see a parts of progressive music in here congratulations..But you have a big problem with music, with genres and the whole stuff.. Try to google the name of this band and then look for genres..Everyblog, every speaciled web surely more than you..lol Name this style of music as progressive metal, progressive death, tecnical progressive death....

  • @anormalnick I'd call this technical metal, but not prog. Progressive should be innovative and unique, and this band has neither quality imo. I'm not going to listen to a band just because someone slapped the "progressive" label on them, it means nothing. Even bands like The Word Alive will call themselves progressive, when in reality it's the same shit that people have been doing for years and they sound exactly like literally thousands of other bands.

  • @jmrocker specialists in the field call this progressive...and you arent a specialist..

you are nothing.. as me...So I follow the real opinions from them.. This style had little pieces of progressive music and you cant change this point ..sorry..

You arent right when exits 3264237 webs telling the opposite that you are comenting here..Are you aware of what I say? You against the world..Different thinking but totally wrong..

  • @anormalnick Also, no need to apologize for your english. If anyone should apologize it should be all the people like me who only know one language and often expect everyone else to speak it as well.

  • @jmrocker You're not smart. Fyi.

  • @Ryu12543 ololol

I'm done posting on this so you can enjoy your music now

  • @jmrocker Thanks.

  • @jmrocker

You know what man, I agree with you. I think that these "prog" bands nowadays are all copying off each other, they sound a LOT alike. Most of em probably heard selkies and shit their pants, then they heard a little after the burial and thought "hmm I can do this, but make it a little different so I can call it my own". I used to be all for prog, until it was milked to the point where it's beyond used up. For fuck's sake, "prog" isn't anywhere near as creative as it's made out to be.

  • @dolanders3

it might be true wat u r saying, but ignorants like u need to know tat making this music does need lot of technical skill...

  • @mannersification

I never said anything about "prog" bands having no technical skill. It's pretty obvious that they DO have technical skill, the guitar playing alone shows that. The type of music that "prog" bands write and claim to be original is in fact NOT original because they copy off of each other, yngwie, and king crimson all the time.

And btw, I didn't know ignorant was a noun.

    Fuck you.

  • @dolanders3 you're stupid shut up pl0x. Arguing over what is progressive and what isn't is stupid and gets old real quick can we just agree that some of like this band/song and some of us don't?

  • @Boooby

If you read my previous replies, you would be able to tell that I was arguing that prog bands are no longer original, not whether they are progressive or not.

So, in fact, YOU'RE stupid. Fuck you.

  • @dolanders3 Yes, all prog bands are trying to catch up with Vishal's electronics. And not many bands have the extreme classical indian influence.

  • @jmrocker You obviously don't know what "progressive" means in musical terms. And this does NOT sound like every other progressive metal band, listen to this then listen to Opeth and try and tell me they sounded the same.

  • @jmrocker

How is this not progressive? It's constantly changing has many different elements and aspects that overall make it a great progressive song. Saying this isn't progressive is like saying Meshuggah plays in 4/4

  • @LordPlinko Meshuggah DOES play in 4/4 lol

  • @jmrocker hahaha get back to jacking off you bitch.

    hipster? get raped XD

  • @jmrocker It's sort of odd how you call him a hipster cunt though you insult a band for not being progressive enough or not being progressive at ALL, i myself sort of share your thought that this is not really going anywhere. Doesn't mean the band is bad it's just that this has been done many many times before.

  • @jmrocker not at all, ill admit its extremely random but original too, ive never heard anything like this but please go check out Dream theater and the contortionist and please show me all the similarities

  • @jmrocker

"HEY THIS ISN'T 100% NEW AND ORIGINAL THEREFORE IT'S CRAP"

  • What just happened?

  • i don't like the part 3:00 - 3:46

  • First time hearing this band.

    Only thoughts.

"Holy fuck, this is good, why didn't i find this sooner"

    I've been missing out.

  • @SocialOutsider me too

  • wow this is amazing

  • nice ... and a very nice account name

  • Nice.

  • 1 Indian guy + a plethora of instruments = this epicness

  • This is my first time hearing it..

and I fucking love this like I love tool

  • Man, glad to see he's finally getting some popularity, I remember when this vid only had like 200 views..

  • Does everyone here know where on earth I can buy a t-shirt with that cover?

  • 4:22

And then I jizzed my pants.

  • buckethead would be proud :)

  • 4:28 Face melted

  • Meshuggah style..

  • @alambreconqueso86

    no, not at all.

  • @alambreconqueso86 Meshuggah doesn't own the rights to polyrhythms and complex time sigs

  • Kurzweil Death Metal

  • thats some fierce fuckin bass

  • India ftw oh yes!!

  • NOT BRUTAL ENOUGH

  • @GrizzlySnakeOFFICIAL this is not BRUTAL death, check cephalic carnage if you want it brutal, but this is amazing

  • @Crptorchild92 Albatross is not an indian band idiot, It's a Nepali band. get ur facts straight arsehole

  • Luke jaeger is in this, so it's half u.s well by one member.

  • Meshuggah, would have 1000000 reasons to get jealous of them!

  • This kicks seriously ass!Difficult to find such band in Europe.Hail brotherz!

  • Mind. Blown.

  • Progressive death metal for robots. I like it.

  • I found this band through 4chan and figured it would be a cool concept, but upon listening to the album this song was on, I was less than impressed. It seems to go all over the place. Some parts did sound cool, but, in my humble opinion, it wasn't all that great.

  • how come this band isn't more popluar? so frickin' AWESOME!

  • And I thought Behold The Arctopus were pretty awful, then theres a whole band who do it.... lulz.

  • @DamageInc0rparat3d Listen to X-Karna, and suck it... Also it's one guy. Also, in the scenario in which you are trolling for the lulz then you can still listen to X-Karna anyway and suck it. =D

  • what happened from 1:25?? roone lag gaya bechara! :(

  • it's not pointless if it saves other people the trouble of listening to this junk. like i said, you don't have to respond, you're just coming across as a butthurt fan. not everyone is going to like what you like, and not everyone is going to care that you have opinions on how comment etiquette supposedly works. negative opinions are just as valid as positive ones, and if i choose to stay on a page and negatively comment on it, i will.

  • India metal YES!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • EXCELENTEEEEE

  • I'd love to see someone do a bass cover of this sing...

  • Very, very, highly creative!

  • As great as this song is, i might prefer The Dance of Eternity by dream theater.

  • I was a regular cyborg.

    Now, I'm activated.

  • @heero7yui

    LOLOLOL

  • Fucking great songg! :DD!

  • Does anyone know what scale this is in?

  • BAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • I heard this and I ejaculated a years worth of semen.

Any metal fan who doesn't know this band is a giant poser who might as well be listening to bring me the horizon.

    AND I MEAN THAT.

  • i died at 3:00 - 3:46

  • Holy Shit I just got a new addiction...!!!!

    10/10

  • Vishal J. Singh As underrated as it gets!

  • first bit sounds like jazz metal or something....

  • This was like taking an epic shit and cumming at the same time.

  • Im so happy right now.......

  • You see? Electronic music needs to learn more from death metal! All the good dubstep is made by people who like metal.

  • @Equity213

Just when you think you've heard everything on youtube

  • @Equity213 please tell me your not talking about that big chocolate shit

  • @Equity213 I listen to both and you couldn't be more wrong. This is terrible.

  • @DeeEmm1 What's so terrible about it? I listen to some pretty heavy stuff and I find this to be amazing. This is a very creative type of music.

  • @colonelcocoa weedly weedly. weedlyweedly weedly. WEEDLY WEEDLY. WEEDLYWEEDLY WEEDLY. even the bass does it. if you're impressed by throwing two genres, some echoed vocals and a bunch of weedles together, it's cool, feel free to listen. give me well done music instead.

  • @DeeEmm1 I heard things other than weedly's but that's my ear not yours so everyone hears different things. But if you don't like something, you can always just leave the video you don't have to comment on it

  • @colonelcocoa why? that's what these comment boxes are for, to leave your thoughts and comments. i did. it doesn't matter that you didn't like what i had to say. you don't have to read it.

  • @DeeEmm1 I have a habit of scrolling through the comments while I listen to a video and so do other people obviously and to see someone go, "Oh this sucks." or "Oh this band can do this and such and such band can do this." its kinda lame. if you don't like it when it starts, click away. Most computers have a shortcut that's part of their beginning memory that lets you go back a page simply by hitting backspace. No need to pointlessly say a band is terrible then not give a reason as to why.

  • @Equity213 Wait -- there's good dubstep?

  • @Equity213 This has nothing to do with death metal.

  • @Pieti222 it kind of does

  • @Equity213 dupstep is for emo/indie/hipster...and some metal fags.....Amogh Symphony is pure art.....with great blend of what pure music should be....Indian Metal is rising

  • @Equity213 >good dubstep

    no...just...no.
