Why why dont they start there real work when they get to work? So I'm majoring in international business..and I was going to learn Korean..but this video is scaring me.
hearing your video makes me second guess my choice to come to S. Korea next year. I am still coming, but I should really consider my future career options. Thank you for posting. Sending you supportive thoughts man. If you are there this time next year, I'll be looking for you. Cheers.
That's not what everyone does in Korea but a lot of them do. LG, Samsung, and SK are the largest companies in Korea and obviously they usually work a lot as he mentioned. But my friend working at SK usually gets out of work at 7 and it all depends on which dept. you work for. You get big bonuses and incentives. Companies like Samsung Electronics offers bonus and incentives that are bigger than your monthly salary and you can make about $65,000 in your entry level although your salary is $3,6000
are they any good? dose there overtime pai off? and theoreticly speaking, cant a person prove that they are the best by making best product, and proving to be most socually competent just by beeing social at work?
or is it some sort of tradition that keeps them from that? 0.o Its just mind boweling that they dont care about the productivity just about how long people work 0.o
what happens if you don´t go with the pack ? Ostracised that i can imagine..fired or demoted ..this is NOT living to me the mere though of to have it like this is awful ..and what do those do that don´t drink or smoke ,do they force themself i could never fit in as i can´t drink and smoking is out of the question for so many reasons i cant even list them, and if i have to do it i rather work as a host
Entry levels make about $35,000 on average at largest corporations in Korea . If you works for mid size company, you can make about $28,000~$32,000. Financial industry makes a big difference like here in U.S. Obviously, the average salary is lower than it is in North America or European countries but you can live cheaper in Korea. Koreans are very family oriented, you get big supports financially from your parents until you settle down which means there are not much of mortgage.
