  • Nice choice of music, although a little 'mournful' perhaps?

  • I spent many long and happy hours trainspotting at Midsomer Norton South in the 1960's until the lines' sad closure. I was in my early teens. Would love to hear from other trainspotters from those days. And yes, those were the days!

  • "cakebrain", I had the same idea, Premium bonds Lottery or whatever. I would willingly pay for the bridge back over Silver Street!!!

I was fortunate to move to the West country in 1952, so spent a lot of time, spotting on the Swift and Delightful. For me as with countless others who still mourn the vandalisation of our railway, events at MSN are watched with eager anticipation.

  • I fully agree but don't forget 'Five Arches'! It would be fantastic to see the line rebuilt and re-opened from Radstock to Midsomer Norton South. However, the guys have done a great job of restoring so far. Well done lads!
