  • 4 strokes have more torque and traction but are heavier than 2 strokes. Maybe they thought it would be easier to handle for that long.

  • Why are they all on 2 stokes? aint 4 strokes best for enduro?

  • @reardon699 2 strokes produce twice the power ,,,takes the 4 strokes four cycles to produce engine combustion and only 2 for the 2 strokes resulting in twice the power.....thats why they went 2 stroke buddy....dont let anyone tell you 4 strokes are more powerful...the only advantage the 4 strokes have is emissions and fuel consumption...period

  • @reardon699 not necessarily. 2 strokes do produce twice as much power as equal sized 4 strokes do, that's what 2 stroke 125s race in the same class as 250 4 strokes. however, 4 strokes create more torque than 2 strokes, hence the majority of supercross riders choosing 4 strokes (more torque at lower RPMs means easier to clear jumps straight out of corners, whereas a 2 stroke produces most of its power in higher RPM ranges, which makes it harder for supercrossers in the same situation).

  • @thrasher102991 Good comment ;)
