My favorite raag and that must be because of the way Pandit Ram Narayan is playing it. Ok, my real favorite is Alaiya Bilawal. I enjoy his playinf and this music so much I am teaching myself how to play Sarangi.
I´m not Indian either, but my adulation for music from the Indian subcontinent is unbounded. Just goes to prove that music is no respecter of geographic boundaries.
