  • hey man! excellent playing! been thinking about getting one these very soon. ive heard that the trem is cheaply made. thoughts? is that true?

  • intresting picking... i usually hold the pick diagonally when i do some fast strumming and keep my pick parallel to the strings when down picking and you do the exact opposite! always intresting to see other picking techniques! :)

oh, and obviously - great playing man! rock on :)

  • amazing playing..are you hybrid picking?

  • want

  • "Headless" Rampage. You're doing it right.

  • i cant understand how you can hold the pick like that

  • Wow this sounds great! Ive never heard someone use the whammy bar that much without being annoyed!

  • This really reminds me of old school Racer X. Amazing man!

  • what I say - I want his guitar

what I actually think - I want his skill...

  • Just so we're clear, I'm liking your playing, not your guitar. I've never been a fan of headless designs. Personal preference and what-not...

  • Wow this is phenomenal man

  • Its like hell on ice and heaven on fire, dude your totally AMAZAZING! :D

  • dude what amp are you useing??!?!?!?!?!

  • Mind=Blown

  • this is so god damn amazing!!

  • Its just like that headless horseman from sleepy hollow, takes out his axe and shreds you to peices.

  • Hey I want to learn! Do you have lessons?

  • Yup

  • This has a Vinnie Moore Mind's Eye vibe to it.

    GREAT JAM

  • I was done with my guitar, and this video just made me go "I gotta keep going, fuck if I'm not good enough"... Brilliant man! cheers from Colombia!

  • I want your guitar. lol

  • If that guitar had a headstock it would look pretty sweet...

  • Simply amazing. I wish I had a class with you, but unfortunately I live in Brazil. I have no words. Much peace and success for you.

  • Reminds me so much of Reb Beach

  • really groovy and clean, excellent stuff! the guitar rocks too ^^

  • he just... he... he just took me head off! lol

  • fuck yes! (pardon my french)

  • Cool! :) The intro riffs were kind of like Buckethead´s Welcome To Buckethead Land...

  • i really like this composition great job!

  • Super cool! Thanks for doing this and posting it here!

  • sick

  • dudeeeeeee u rockkkk

  • FML!

  • Wow ~~

    you are great

  • awesome work!!!

  • i have a question. is it possible to be able to drop a single string? like for example drop c? this has been bugging me for a while.

  • Lady gaga and Brittney spears didnt like this ...

  • Thanks for all the comments guys - I read every one of them, but don't get to reply on here often. Drop me a line on Facebook or Twitter w/ any questions or check my website for updates. Here's to a ROCKIN' 2011!!!

    Bryan Aspey

  • hi,what is the amp that you usaully use with the ZT-3? I LOVE THIS GUITAR AND YOUR PLAYING

    thanks

  • Jeez dude, Paul GIlbert influenced much? hah, great work man! \m/

  • REMINDES ME OF DIME BAG,JEFFWATERS AND STEVE VAI,LOVE THE MELODY WITH THE DARK CLASSICAL BIT

  • That was awesome man, thats a sweet guitar too. Your phrasing and melodies are sooooo awesome, i would really like to know your influences for this style of playing, i find it so fascinating and i would like to learn how to phrase like that. why have i not heard of you before?!

  • 2 people died from awesomeness, and as their faces fell hey accidentally clicked the dislike button.

  • What amp/pedals are you using, amazing tone!

Also, I love that guitar, but it's so expensive haha I wish they would make their cheaper models in other shapes than they do, I would so love them if they did!

  • Although I never really got into Steinbergs, the whammy has an amazing concept. Id like to see something like this from Kahler. Besides that, your playing is stunning. Im late to the party since I only got to know about you a few hours ago but what a great find. Beautiful sound.

  • brilliant!

  • man I have watched this over 400 times since I found it.. still blows me away every time.. this composition is mindblowing

  • unreal

  • great play, great guitar, great looking guitar body, but I can't help disliking the amputee neck...engineering masterpiece but looks hideous.

  • bro, this is realy great track for lamborghini masialago test drive...ha..ha..exelent...

  • god damnit, that was like the cleanest playing i've ever heard

  • Does the little flip out piece that lets you play in the classical position come standard on the Steinberger? That thing is sweet! BTW nice time, and melodic direction change at the end. I have only seen this vid and your strings on fire vid, but both have been the most original and innovative solos I have heard in a long time.

  • @gamergeek3000 Yes, the leg rest is standard on the ZT3. I use it all the time, and talk a little about it in my ZT3 demo too. Thanks man!

  • @bryanaspey hi,what is the amp that you usaully use with the ZT-3? I LOVE THIS GUITAR AND YOUR PLAYING

    thanks

  • @TeoCustodero Thank you! I usually record with an ADA MP-1, but jam through a Tech 21 Trademark 60 or recently a Peavey Classic 30

  • ok..i listened to your electrical work..and i was blown away..sweept around the world..and then returned with my whole body melted and my mind forever in amazement...but when i seen your acoustic work...I WAS TAKEN TO ANOTHER DIMENSION...you gotta show the people here your acoustic side..it would be amazing

  • @arcainjust I know it's kind of crazy that I have zero acoustic presence on my YouTube channel right now, been a little carried away with electric lately, but will try to get some acoustic work up soon. Thanks! :D

  • @bryanaspey no i should be the one thanking champion you are undeniably amazing on both....*you ARE the artist after all you chose what you enjoy* peace and respect

  • wow this is great, that steinberger has a lot of sustain and response doesnt it

  • The magic of YouTube. Just fell on this video, and how my God, I love it. beautiful technic and phrasing. What tonality is that?

And this guitar looks beautiful. Should be great to play!

  • Even though I have seen your videos numerous times Bryan I cant help but feel the need to come back and get inspiration every other day and so ! Thanks for all the inspiration and hope to see some new videos soon ! :D

  • This reminds me of Living Colour mixed with a hint of megadeth. Very nice playing, very nice guitar.

  • this is what i was talking about earlier.

more like this and less like eric johnson/degeneres.

    good show.

  • cool playing

  • Steinberger!

  • tabs please!

  • U should take the trans trem & put it on an SG, because the guitar sounds like junk. Only thing interesting is the trem.

  • this is almost as good a keith richards. but only on opposite day.

  • your honestly my favorite musician

  • genial °!!!

  • Beautiful guitar and beautiful playing ^^

  • Really love that lick at 0:34 - 0:38

Killer stuff bryan... you're the man.

  • How does the bridge handle country-style double stops? Is it more solid that other floating bridges for that purpose? And can you drop the E string without having to retune?

  • awesome . some parts of the song reminds me of steve vai

  • YOUR A MONSTER!

  • I love your sweeps, melodies, and trem work, everything you do, your phasing me of Tony Macalpine. Are you working on a electric album? This tune is killer =) So is everything you play btw

  • @burnedoutgolfer you've got a great ear for guitar music - I was actually listening to a lot of MacAlpine at this time! Thanks so much for your feedback, and yes I am working on putting some material together right now!

  • Damn Bryan great skills. Looks like you made YouTube partner and an endorsement deal. Congrats man you have mad skills.

  • @MrLeedsman Thanks a lot for your comments and the support my friend!

  • Excellent playing. What kind of bridge is that? And is there anywhere I could get a tab for this?

  • Really admire your great, precise playing man! Been following your vids ever since I saw the Shred This one. Watching this also makes me wanna go and buy the ZT3 instead of looking for a GM lol

  • dude AWESOME!

  • Bryan, you are really getting into this electric guitar thing! Your tone is awesome. You have a melodic sense of composition that most people just don't have. Great feel. This and your 1st. place entry for shred are as good as it gets. Very cool.

    Ken

  • Thanks for coming back!

    Kinda miss your playing!

  • Thanks for coming back!

    Kinda miss your playing!

  • Fantastic playing!

Congrats to the guitar contract (you deserve it).

    Cheers!

    Magnus Olsson

  • @MagnX Thanks a lot Magnus! Really nice to hear this from you!

  • The guitar is a lot more ergonomic than I originally thought. It's a shame there's no piezo.

I always thought a combination of Parker guitars and the old steinbergers would make the ultimate electric guitar.

  • Awesome dude!!!!

  • @Xiphos68 Thanks man!

  • @bryanaspey

    Welcome dude!!!

  • Well, fuckin' finally, Bryan! It took me 15 hours before I could reply cause I had to clean the floor when my face melted. Sorry about that, mate.

  • @PaoloCastilloMusic thanks my friend, I'm glad it passed the face melting test :DD

  • Awesome guitar ,i have always loved the headless guitars

  • @col33145 me too, headless rocks!

  • cool! The leg rest is intriguing.

  • @GuillermoSmyser I use it ALL the time - thanks!

  • Hello Bryan,

How does it compare to your other steinberger?

  • @MatthewBearne both are awesome guitars; ZT3 adds the TransTrem, the leg rest, a great body shape and super light weight, the wood neck feels great too!

  • @bryanaspey Is your other one not a GM? I thought they had the trans trem?

  • @MatthewBearne my red one is a GR series w/ an R-Trem

  • @bryanaspey Ah, my mistake :-)
