its annoying to know that age of empires stopped its releases. i guess thats just because if they world go further in time, they world now end up being around WWII, which would steal away the "empires". which sux, but i guess that they could just make another one earlier like aroudn the time of aoe 2, and just modernize the graphics and gameplay. this would be better

@deadlypower2008 there is age of mythology I guess, but I love the era that AoE 3 is set in. I do think a WW1 game would do ok, probably 2 aswell seeing as the British, French, Italian and Spanish Empires where around up untill just after WWII

The only truly poor thing about this game was its story mode, and even that was fixed with TWC and TAD's story modes. Sure it's alot different from AoE and AoK, and some things it did worse, but it did alot of things better too.

#1 get your men.

#2 move your formation as close to the enemy as possible DON'T SHOOT YET

#3 make sure the unit attack is on volley

#4 shoot

P.S. it is the best you can do it won't be exactly the same

French. I think that the British gets a first bayonet advantage. And the French are using the line formation because they get a higher chance of hitting with their musket, but because of the formation. They fire, reload, fix bayonet, engage in bayonet and hand-to-hand fighting at the same time and need a order from officers. My opinion =).
