Grossly overpriced, pretentious, and ultimately disappointing.
Per Se is best suited to the tourists who want to return to Middle America and try to impress their friends by saying they've been there. If you really know your food and wine, there are at least 5,000 better places in New York to get a great meal.
@1488slav I am really sorry you do not like it. Really. I mean a 4 star NY Times, a 3 Michelin stars, can only be a sad burger shop indeed. I enjoy it. Not as a restaurant, but like a lovely entertainment place. Than I can tell you, I know enough there are tons of places where you eat well. But not magical like this one.
