I have one here in Puerto Rico!!! i love when i buy the car!!! but now i hate it. in the interior everything do noises like cracking!!! i dont know cus is just have 15,000miles on it. Im going to trade this smart for a Mazda 3! I dont recommend this car to anybody! its just for people whit money who wanna go outs the weekends and things like that!! and is not to stable in the highway specially the windy days!! sorry if i dont spell well the English but im from Puerto Rico and we spanish here!!!

First of all it's Toyota but is going to have a scion emblem in the US,which has lately not had a good impact. And second it only gets in the 30's for mpg. Some people are ignorant and don't have the education and information. That's part of the problem. I'm not saying we'll run out of oil anytime soon, but it is very possible to deplete it. Oil takes MILLIONS of years to form from decomposed matter and high pressures in the earth. I think some people think oil is generated inside the earth like a machine and it just keeps pumping more and more oil. It's a natural resource just like wood, fresh water, etc. It is possible to run out!
Oh yes! I can honestly say I'm really excited about these hydrogen cars from Honda and GM. ZERO polluting emissions (just water vapor), and it's safer than gas due to the way it burns. I won't be surprised if the first model or two that comes to production is terrible expensive, but once they are mainstream and affordable, hooray! Everyone will benefit...well, except for the oil companies and everyone in their employ.

You took the words out of my mouth my friend. Makes it a joy to drive again. I said those same words when i first got my Smart nearly a year ago, and i am still wowed by my little guy. BTW mine is a silver and blue pure. This car is a fun car and gas friendly to boot. You can't say that about many other economy cars.
YEAH MY other car is a 4x4 D/Cab HILUX SR5 I'am leaning more & more to the SMART

Thankfully GM is hard at work developing hydrogen cars. The only emissions are water!
And it seems that hydrogen vehicles are 100+% better at fuel economy than the hybrids.
