I just got a quote from TNT to send a letter to a distance of only just 200 miles costs £26.90 next day delivery. It was over £80 to get it there before 9am! You'll happily pay that rather than a few pence? Of course you would!

By striking the Royal Mail employees are simply shooting themselves in the foot. This is destroying the Royal mails business which must reform.
The country cant be held hostage by a monopoly and a single union. The longer this lasts, the more radical the reforms will be.
