These appear to be machined. Commercial mechanum wheels can be foudn at AndyMark for large robots, or for small ones, Fingertech Robotics.

Price and because it would require either an electric powertrain with 4 separate motors, or a VERY complex transmission that would be very heavy and break down all the time.
