first off, not trying to flame and yeah i agree M3s aren't built for 1/4 mile drag and all but, more so than a gsxr 1000. lets face it, most (not all but most) owners or e92's don't keep their shit stock, and at the same time, most (can't stress most enough) owners of the high powered supras and gt500s if thats what you want to compare it to aren't stock either. any car can be built for 1/4 or turns. just cause the m3 comes stock built more for corners doesn't mean it would win.

The very fact that Yamaha was brought in to tune the exhaust and sound of the car was genius. To further add to the genius behind the LF-A is that 65% of the frame is made from CFRP and the front and rear aluminum sub-frames removable to keep repair costs down. No big deal, u like what u like. Personally I like BMW better as well, it's pretty amazing how they get 333hp from an I6 N/A and no N/A is NOT better then Turbo out of factory. The factory puts on turbos then puts better rods and such makes the internals a lot stronger (BMW does this on about every car, M Coupe can handle over 20psi on stock internals). To make an N/A quick you put high compression pistons which is what BMW did I bet Plus I might be buying a 740i Sport 01 so idc much about Supra

Yet the Supra has better rated engine then any of the BMW out there? Don't get me wrong, BMW and their 5 series angel lights are epic. I have never been or driven in a Supra but I have been in 06 M3, 08 740, 95 740, 01 540i, they are nice, but not as quick as the Supra or easy to mod.

BMW is a good rounded daily driver, but Supra makes a great track car, it's all about what you like.

My brother had a black on black 06 M3 SMG, trust me I can tell you it was an AWESOME car much better everyday car then a Supra IMO. I really used to like Merc, I did. It just seems they've cheaped out on everything though...their quality just isn't the same. For example, I flew out of state for the holiday and rented a new C350 for the week...WOW what a pile of crap. I was really disappointed. Power was lacking, handling was poor and all the plastics/metals just felt glued together...as if they would give at any moment, lol.

The Supra is one sick car, but plain and simple, the BMW does all the same stuff but with class. The Supra (Evo and Sti) overlooks these key points. Sure the Supra is and can be made ridiculously fast, but at the end of the day its still a Supra, people are willing to pay for certain cars for reasons. Fit and finish matters.

I will say I'm happy to see more turbo-charged engines in general, no replacement for displacement my ass. Four and six cylinders with mileage and power, V8's be warned.
