  • This is one of my favorite songs. Ever. I can't think of any other song that makes me feel the way this song does.

  • @andrearot hmm check out these bands: My Brightest Diamond, Neutral Milk Hotel, Dance Gavin Dance, The Microphones, Circulatory System, Daniel Johnston, Beat Happening, Fifth Column, Poison The Well, Linda Perhacs... i dont normally listen to alternative but there are a lot of great bands, and thats cool(: what instrument do you play?

  • @stalkerP00Q i play drums.. we've different influences, like alt-rock, noise, stoner ecc.. we called our project La Nuit (the night, in french)..check out our stuff: lanuitband(dot)com ..add us on fb then, if you like us!

do you play in a band? thanks for the list..!

  • @stalkerP00Q you're welcome! can you suggest me other interesting bands? no matter the genre.. anyway i love alternative music :) (i play in a band, La Nuit)

  • @andrearot very cool of you to post these but no offence, whats with your grammer on your comments? lol

  • @stalkerP00Q i'm italian dud... :) bad english, i know.

  • i lovelovelovelove LOVE how the instruments are all kind of slightly out of tune with each other. it makes it sound that much more honest and personal somehow.

  • amazzing

  • DOES ANYONE HAS GOT TRANSCRIPTIONS OF JUNE OF 44 LYRICS? i'm gonna crazy..i NEED to read and empathize their lyrics..

  • you big!!

  • I am so proud of livng in Louisville.

  • @fruitbatrepublic you lucky. how's the post rock / math rock scene now there in louisville?

  • @andrearot it's real nice. we have lots of great bands like parlour and young widows and shipping news

  • Does anyone know if June Of 44 has their own website or of any interviews with the band or whomever wrote most of the lyrics? I'd love to know what their songs are about, I can get a general idea but I want to hear what they say themselves.

  • June of 44では一番好きなアルバムです。

  • I just became a believer... this song is amazing!

  • great 5/4 grooves!

  • @yrureadingthisname are you trying to show that you know what 5/4 is? well done. heres a medal

  • @SmashedUpFetus shut up.

  • @yrureadingthisname aww ='( sowwy i upsetted you and hurted your feewings

  • @SmashedUpFetus Regerhay vxbnhfjeiy fgnafngnfb bab fgnfgnfan. Fhmsmsgms? Afgagnafgn! Sgnfhnshfnsm mngbab!!! Fhnshfns...

  • i never gave a shit about the labels. All I know is this came out of the special time that was the late 90s and in Louisville-- Slint, Shipping News, etc, and goddamit, nothing has sounded even close!!!

  • i agree with you, my friend. the sounds of these bands are very cool anyway! slint made school for many of them all, but man, june of 44 were really cool.

  • for real, let music such as this just exist as it is. There is no need to say this band owes its sounds to this or shares qualities with this..who gives a fuck? All that shit is pretentious as hell...

  • a minor forest...were they louisbville....if not they fit right in..all quality shit.....

  • @alejandro15187 I miss those days. It was exciting, shows all the time, the machine, flashbacks, those days are long gone..

  • Finalmente! Amo questa musica...

  • Meravigliosamente immensa

  • ho provato anche a tradurre il testo, ma sembra che anche gli americani stessi non ne cavino molto eheheh.. :)

il testo parla di un'autostrada comunque.

    boh gran gruppo!

  • math rock is awesome, thanks for posting

  • è il primo riff che ho imparato a suonare col basso :D

  • eeehllala' avevi gia' ottimi gusti eheheh... :)

suoni da tanto? di dove sei?

  • ti ho risposto in privato ....ma che braaava che sono diventata!! ;^D

  • how does this band relates to 90 day men / lichesn / battles and so on???

  • i've not tagged with "90 day men / lichesn / battles and so on". where have you seen this relation?

  • at some 90day men songs - I can remeber is june of 44 also mentioned... are there any real connections?

  • well, what you've heard about this relation has not been mentioned by me, i guess.. :)

anyway, they all belong to a musical stream which is called post rock: this genre is really big and is also divided in other subgenres like math rock, experimental ecc..

you should read about it on wikipedia. ;)

remember above all that post rock is more a conceptual and chronological event than a musical genre.

i hope i was helpful, sorry for my bad english!
