Does anyone have the deleted scene where Brandon Lee gets killed?

The reason the shot was cut from the film is because the Skull Cowboy (which is not in the film) tells him that he is not to help the Living. He helped Darla and that drained his powers, allowing funboy to hurt him.

@TheBdweiserman, well, this scene explains the electrical tape on Eric later in the film. this scene should NOT have been deleted from the film.

@AncientHistoryBuff The electrical tape was for Self Mutalation. If anything/one harms Eric he heals. But if he harms himself it wont heal.

They deleted this scene for a specific reason: they changed the original concept. In the comics Eric can't heal the lacerations because he helped Darla. He can't interfere with people's life or he loses the crow's help.

Infact after this scene he has electrical tape on his arms.

They changed the thing to: kill the crow, man loses his powers. Poor

for so much information and souch dept alex proyas and the screenplay writers did a hell of a job in putin in so much and so many years of story telling into an hour and a half or so.

@ZioZambe wow awesome insight! I never read the comics but am still familiar with the concept of why he wouldn't heal in this case. And I love the movie but never thought much about WHY all the electrical tape shows up later in the movie. Just assumed it was cuz it looked cool

@AV1205 the idea is that he couldn't heal because he got those cuts because he was helping living people ie darla. He's only invincible when avenging the dead, but as Ziozambe said, they changed the rule to only being invincible while the crow (the actual bird) is still alive so this scene no longer made sense

In the comic he is invincible until he helps some living people;in this scene he helps Darla(Sara's mum)...in the final editinf of the movie he is invincible until the crow is death or wounded...
